Compliance and merch courses for buyers in Mexico
A merch programme fails on details that take twenty minutes to understand and a week to unpick: a fabric that does not survive washing, a delivery that lands after the agenda closed, an invoice issued to the wrong entity. These three courses are written for the person who buys, not the person who designs. They run as written material you can read on your own, or as a live walkthrough with our team when a group needs to go through its own brief.
What the three courses cover
Merch fundamentals is the starting point for anyone who has inherited a merchandise budget without inheriting the process. It covers how decoration methods differ in cost and durability, where the minimum order quantity really bites, and how to structure a brief so that quotes from different suppliers can be compared line by line.
CFDI 4.0 is for the finance side of a programme. It explains the structure of the invoice, the difference between the invoice to the client and the complement for freight, and which field the accountant needs in order to close the month. Most invoice problems are field-level, not conceptual.
IMMEX is for companies with a plant or an export programme. It sets out how declared inputs and outputs are accounted for, why gifting counts as a taxable event, and how the merchandise line is documented alongside the production file.
How a session is organised
- Format. Written material read on your own, or a live walkthrough with your own brief on screen.
- Length. The written course takes about an hour; a live session is scheduled to fit a working week.
- Group size. Built for a brand or procurement team, not a conference audience.
- Language. Delivered in Spanish or English, with the written material in both.
- Bring a brief. The session is far more useful with a live order to look at than with a slide deck.
- No obligation. Training is not tied to placing an order with us.

These courses are training material written by our own team; they are not an accredited certification, and completing one does not qualify a buyer or a supplier for anything. We are not an official partner, sponsor or approved supplier of any institution named in these courses.
