Market state · Forward outlook
Whitepapers on corporate merch
Whitepapers are the longer form of a trend report: less about what changed last quarter, more about how a market is structured and where it is likely to go. Two are published here. Both are editorial, both state their sources, and both mark every estimate as an estimate — because a forward-looking document that blurs the line between measured and modelled is worse than no document.
What the two papers cover
The state of merch in Mexico 2026 sets out how the market is structured: who buys, through which channels, at what volumes, and which decisions dominate the cost. It also covers the production geography and the operational constraints that a buyer in another market would not expect.
The outlook for IMMEX programmes in 2027 looks at how export programmes affect merchandise decisions one planning cycle ahead: declared inputs and outputs, the treatment of gifting to employees, and the logistics of producing inside or alongside a plant rather than in a workshop. Its regulatory references are current at the time of publication and should be confirmed with your own customs adviser and with the authority.
How these papers are written
- Sources named. Where a figure comes from a third party, the source is identified.
- Estimates labelled. Modelled figures are marked as modelled, not presented as measurements.
- Editorial. Written by our team; not commissioned, not sponsored and not a research product.
- Not advice. Customs, tax and legal questions belong with your own adviser.
- Current at publication. Rules change; the date of the reference is stated.
- Free to read. Published in full on this site.
Every whitepaper
One paper is published here as a web page; the state-of-merch paper for 2026 is additionally available in this section as a downloadable PDF.
What we are not
Corp-Merch.MX is an independent production workshop for corporate merch, uniforms and business gifting, invoicing to SAT under CFDI 4.0. These whitepapers are editorial documents, not research reports commissioned for a client, and nothing in them constitutes customs, tax or legal advice. We are not an official partner, sponsor or approved supplier of any authority, institution or brand referred to in these papers.
Put the paper to work
If a paper raises a question about a programme you are planning, send the question rather than the paper. We will answer it and tell you what we would do with the information.
