Specialized course: CFDI 4.0 for merch operations

This course goes deep into CFDI 4.0 invoicing applied specifically to corporate merch, business gifts and uniforms operations. Across four modules you will learn to correctly issue invoices, payment complements, Carta Porte 3.0 and foreign trade complements; to validate your suppliers on SAT blacklists; and to design the accounts receivable flow with PPD and payment complement. It is for finance, accounting, procurement and operations professionals who need to master electronic invoicing in the sector.

Why a specialized CFDI course for merch

Merch invoicing has particularities that a general CFDI course does not cover. The typical operation involves: purchases from multiple workshops with different fiscal regimes, sales with delivery to multiple cities that require Carta Porte, sales to overseas clients with foreign trade complement, returns with referenced credit notes, and master agreements with PPD and monthly payment complement. Each of those scenarios has specific rules that a general accountant may not handle in depth.

When invoicing is misissued, the consequences are operational and fiscal. An invoice with wrong CFDI usage is not deductible. An invoice with wrong payment method generates a rejection in reconciliation. A missing Carta Porte does not credit the logistics IVA. An invoice from a 69-B supplier is automatically cancelled. The course teaches how to avoid each of those errors.

How it is taken

The course is asynchronous with optional live sessions. The four modules are taken on the platform with videos of fifteen to twenty minutes, downloadable PDF material and working spreadsheets. At the end of each module there is a practical exercise with real sector cases and a ten-question assessment. Students who pass the four modules receive the digital certificate.

Live sessions are two-hour webinars scheduled once a month. In each session, an invited SAT specialist or specialized accounting firm solves doubts in real time. Sessions are recorded and remain available for students who could not attend.

Downloadable material

Three working templates students can use in their daily operation: a supplier validation template that checks RFC against SAT and 69-B blacklists and records the date of the last validation; an accounts receivable template that reconciles PPD against payment complement and alerts on pending payments; and a Carta Porte 3.0 template with SAT catalogs pre-filled.

Templates are delivered in Excel and Google Sheets, with formulas for automatic IVA, retention and currency conversion calculation. Students can use them in their operation and adapt them to their needs.

What you will be able to do at the end

Five concrete skills. First, correctly issue any CFDI in the merch sector, including the necessary complements. Second, validate a supplier before signing the contract and during the commercial relationship.

Third, design the accounts receivable flow for a monthly master agreement. Fourth, reconcile the payment complement against pending PPDs. Fifth, explain to the commercial area when each CFDI usage applies and why a rejected invoice is not deductible.
