Corp-Merch.MX joins CANACINTRA as an allied corporate merch supplier
Corp-Merch.MX has signed a cooperation framework with the Cámara Nacional de la Industria de Transformación (CANACINTRA) to provide corporate merch services to member companies across 18 industrial delegations in Mexico. The agreement covers apparel, drinkware, packaging and recognition gifts, with full CFDI 4.0 invoicing, USMCA certificate of origin support and IMMEX-aligned logistics for maquiladora operations on the northern border.
Why an alliance with CANACINTRA, and why now
For the past ten years we have served industrial clients in Saltillo, Ramos Arizpe, Apodaca, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, Tijuana, Juárez and the Bajío. Most of them arrived through word of mouth, through their parent companies in the United States, or through procurement portals at global headquarters. That route works, but it leaves out a significant share of Mexican mid-market manufacturers who buy merch locally without going through a multinational procurement department. CANACINTRA represents those companies directly — it is the largest industrial chamber in Mexico with more than 60,000 affiliated businesses, organized in 80 regional delegations and 14 sectorial chambers.
When we approached the chamber in early 2026, the conversation was straightforward: industrial member companies were buying merch from three or four different workshops, none of which could produce CFDI 4.0 consistently, none of which could handle the cross-border documentation required for USMCA, and none of which had a working knowledge of IMMEX program restrictions on what can be brought into a maquiladora bonded warehouse. By aligning with a single supplier that already operates inside those constraints, member companies can consolidate purchasing into one annual cycle with one CFDI per delivery wave and one reconciled expense account at year end.
What the alliance covers in practice
Apparel and uniforms for plant staff
Branded workwear, plant-floor uniforms, safety vests and reflective accessories for industrial member companies operating in production lines. Production cycles aligned to factory shift calendars, with delivery windows that respect month-end inventory audits.
Trade-show kits for industrial fairs
Expo Guadalajara, Expo Cintermex, Hannover Mexico, FabTech Mexico and Industrial Transformation Mexico. Branded booth apparel, giveaway kits and lead-capture gifts timed to event calendars. Stand rebuild kits for repeat exhibitors.
Recognition gifts for plant leadership
Year-end recognition for plant managers, supervisors and operators. Engraved leather goods, branded drinkware, executive pens, anniversary plaques. Delivered in time for December assemblies and end-of-year bonuses.
USMCA and IMMEX-aligned documentation
Certificate of origin support for merch produced under USMCA rules of origin, IMMEX program compatibility for bonded warehouse imports, NOM-004-STPS-1999 traceability on safety apparel, and SAT-aligned CFDI 4.0 issued per wave with IVA 16% desglosado.
How the alliance works with CANACINTRA delegations
Each regional delegation — Nuevo León, Jalisco, Estado de México, Puebla, Chihuahua, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Coahuila, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Sonora, Aguascalientes, Baja California, Morelos, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala and Yucatán — appoints a procurement liaison. When a member company needs merch, it sends the brief to the liaison. The liaison forwards it to us with a single-page member certification. We quote, produce, deliver and invoice in MXN with CFDI 4.0 stamped by SAT, sending copies to both the member company and the delegation.
For maquiladora operations under IMMEX, we coordinate directly with the company's customs broker to ensure that imported materials used in production are properly documented under the maquila program. For USMCA-export-bound merch, we issue a back-up certificate of origin supporting the apparel or drinkware qualifying under regional value content rules when yarn or fabric originates in Mexico or the United States.
Member-company pricing and minimums
CANACINTRA member companies receive a 6 to 9 percent discount on the same SKUs we quote to non-members, depending on volume and category. The discount is applied at quote time and reflected in the CFDI as a linea de descuento, not as a post-invoice credit note, which keeps the fiscal trail clean for the member company's accounting department. Minimum order quantities for member companies start at 50 units per SKU for apparel and 100 units for drinkware, well below the standard MOQ we apply to non-member corporate clients.
Payment terms for member companies follow a standard 50-50 split: 50 percent on order confirmation against a proforma invoice, 50 percent on delivery before the second wave goes out. Members with active credit lines through CANACINTRA's financial arm can apply for net-30 terms on recurring orders after the first successful delivery cycle.
What we will not do under the alliance
We will not lobby CANACINTRA on policy positions, we will not represent the chamber in regulatory matters, and we will not market the alliance as a chamber endorsement of our products or a chamber-licensed methodology. The alliance is a commercial cooperation agreement: the chamber introduces us to its members, and we deliver merch at agreed commercial terms. The chamber does not endorse specific products, does not certify our quality, and does not act as guarantor for member-company purchases. Members buy from us on the same legal basis as any other supplier, with the only difference being the commercial discount and the documentation support we provide.
FAQ — CANACINTRA alliance
Does Corp-Merch.MX become a CANACINTRA-certified supplier?
No. There is no CANACINTRA certification for merch suppliers. The alliance is a commercial cooperation agreement that gives member companies access to our catalogue at member pricing. Quality is managed through our own internal QA process, not through chamber certification.
Can non-member companies still buy from Corp-Merch.MX?
Yes. The alliance does not restrict our customer base. Non-members buy at standard pricing, members at member pricing. Both receive the same production quality and the same CFDI 4.0 documentation.
Does the alliance cover merch for export to the United States?
Yes, when the merch is produced under USMCA rules of origin. We issue certificate of origin documentation on request for apparel produced with USMCA-qualifying yarn or fabric. For merch imported from outside North America, we work with the member's customs broker to ensure proper IMMEX classification.
Can member companies request samples before placing an order?
Yes. Member companies can request up to three physical samples per SKU at no cost, with shipping billed at cost via the member's preferred carrier or through our standard courier. Sample turnaround is 5 to 7 business days for stock items and 10 to 15 business days for custom-decorated samples.
How is the alliance reviewed each year?
The agreement includes a yearly commercial review where we report order volume, member satisfaction index, on-time delivery rate and any disputes. CANACINTRA's procurement committee can terminate the alliance with 60 days' notice if member satisfaction falls below agreed thresholds.
