2025 close · What we learned

Corp-Merch.MX in 2025

The 2025 shop operation summary: pieces produced, sectors served, cities covered, most used print methods, regulatory compliance, events served and the six operational lessons we take into 2026.

The numbers of the year

During 2025 we delivered one hundred and eighty-two thousand pieces to one hundred and forty-three corporate clients. Billing grew 42% versus 2024. Average ticket per program landed at MXN 284,000 before VAT, with a range from MXN 18,000 in exploratory programs to MXN 4,700,000 in multi-site programs with a quarterly calendar. The on-time delivery rate was 96.8%; late deliveries concentrated in events with restrictive venue logistics.

The non-conformity rate reported by clients was 1.1% of total delivered pieces. Each non-conformity was documented with 8D or equivalent format and closed with verified corrective action. Non-conformity traceability is kept for at least three years for audit purposes.

Sectors served

The five sectors with the highest billing during 2025 were IMMEX manufacturing at 28% of the total, financial services and fintech at 22%, mass consumer at 19%, state and municipal government at 15%, and private higher education at 11%. The remaining 5% was distributed across trade associations, healthcare, hospitality and special projects.

The sector with the strongest growth versus 2024 was fintech at 68%, driven by mass onboarding programs in CDMX and Guadalajara. The most stable sector was government, with fixed calendars and recurring tenders.

Cities covered

Operation concentrated in six cities: CDMX with 36% of deliveries, Monterrey with 20%, Guadalajara with 17%, Querétaro with 11%, Mérida with 8% and Puebla with 5%. The remaining 3% corresponds to one-off deliveries in Tijuana, León, Cancún, Veracruz and Cuernavaca.

Direct operating coverage in CDMX, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Querétaro and Mérida is maintained with local staff and delivery fleet. For deliveries in secondary cities we worked with national logistics operators with agreed SLA and real-time tracking.

Print methods

Distribution by print method was: screen print 43% of total customized pieces, embroidery 32%, sublimation 11%, digital transfer 7%, laser engraving 5%, and DTF 2%. Screen print dominates because of the per-unit cost on large runs; embroidery because of the presentation on polos and jackets; sublimation because of sport and recognition pieces; laser engraving because of premium and high-value pieces.

The strongest growth versus 2024 was DTF at 400%, starting from a low base but with growing adoption in customization-with-photography programs. The second strongest was laser engraving at 45%, driven by demand from financial services and consumer premium sectors.

Regulatory compliance

One hundred percent of delivered textiles complied with NOM-004-SCFI-2006 on labeling. One hundred percent of electrical items complied with NOM-024-SCFI-2013 with commercial information, and those connecting to mains additionally with NOM-003-SCFI-2014 on safety. One hundred percent of beverage sets complied with NOM-141-SSA1-SCFI-2012 with verification of the authorized producer's documentation.

Billing was one hundred percent under CFDI 4.0 with payment complement when applicable. We had no observations from clients' internal comptroller or from SAT during 2025. Carta Porte 3.0 was issued on one hundred percent of shipments with logistics carriers that required the receipt.

Events served

During 2025 we served forty-two in-venue events, across international fairs, industry congresses, Mexico-US binational forums under USMCA, product launches, corporate anniversaries and recruiting fairs. Each event had a local owner coordinating the venue dock window, on-site consignee and signed delivery acknowledgment.

Events with multi-audience kits — staff, press, VIP and speaking — had a single program owner coordinating the split by audience and delivery with the right name and company. The distribution error rate at events landed at 0.3%.

Six lessons for 2026

One: short runs with full-color customization migrate from traditional screen print to DTF and sublimation — we bring additional capacity in 2026. Two: logistics with on-site staff and scheduled appointment is worth more than conventional shipping — we invest in our own delivery staff. Three: documented evidence has become a requirement from the brief, not only at delivery — we deliver it within 48 business hours of request. Four: the IMMEX regime requires the right pedimento from the start — we harden the integration with the foreign-trade area. Five: CFDI 4.0 invoicing with payment complement and Carta Porte 3.0 becomes the standard across clients — we keep continuous update against SAT. Six: audience-specific bundling with differentiated composition gains ground over the single kit — we bring in pre-assembled bundling templates for the most frequent use cases.
