Technical session · 90 minutes

CFDI 4.0 webinar applied to corporate merch

A technical session for corporate clients who need to understand how corporate merch production is billed in Mexico under CFDI 4.0: mandatory fields, payment complement, Carta Porte 3.0 when physical delivery applies, frequent errors that block the deduction, and the impact of the IMMEX regime on billing.

Who this session is for

The session is designed for purchasing, comptroller, finance and compliance owners of corporate clients who receive invoices from merch suppliers and need to understand which CFDI 4.0 fields are mandatory, which errors block the deduction and how to validate the invoice before closing the month. It is also useful for procurement owners who are structuring a multi-year program and want to align the payment flow with electronic billing.

The session is intermediate level. It does not require technical knowledge of electronic billing, but it helps to have clarity on the client's purchase and payment processes.

Agenda · 90 minutes

The session covers nine topics. Regulatory framework of CFDI 4.0 and its relationship with the VAT Law, the ISR Law and the Federal Fiscal Code. Mandatory CFDI 4.0 fields for corporate merch: forma de pago (PUE or PPD), método de pago, uso de CFDI (G03, G01), fiscal regime of the receiver, postal code of the fiscal address. Payment complement for advance and settlement in multi-year programs. Carta Porte 3.0 when delivery is physical with a logistics carrier. Frequent errors that block the deduction: generic RFC, incomplete fiscal address, wrong fiscal regime, miscalculated amount, mis-brokened VAT.

We continue with the IMMEX regime and billing with pedimento, program number and foreign-trade complement. ISR withholding when it applies to customization services. CFDI de nómina when the client asks that the delivery to the collaborator be reported as income in kind. Practical cases with five billing scenarios solved in session.

What the attendee takes away

Attendees receive, within 48 business hours of the session: webinar recording in MP4, presentation in PDF with the speaker's notes, CFDI 4.0 validation checklist template with the critical points that must be verified before accepting an invoice from a merch supplier, and the contact directory of Corp-Merch.MX's billing area for specific question resolution.

The recording is delivered without viewing restriction to registered attendees. The checklist template is an operational tool the accounts payable area can use right away.

Dates and logistics

The session is delivered on the last Thursday of every month from 10:00 to 11:30 Mexico City time. The platform is Zoom with personalized link sent by email 24 hours before the session. Attendance is capped at 30 attendees to allow interaction on the practical cases. The session is not streamed on social media and is not published openly.

For corporate clients with distributed teams in different cities, we organize private bespoke sessions with content adapted to the sector and the client's fiscal regime. The private session is quoted as a project and scheduled with two to four weeks of lead time.

Who presents

The webinar is presented by Corp-Merch.MX's billing and tax compliance owner, with over eight years of experience in electronic billing for corporate clients in manufacturing, financial services, government and mass consumer. The speaker answers specific attendee questions and, when the question requires deep-dive, channels it with the SAT's technical area for formal resolution.

The session is not a sales talk. It is a technical session based on the daily billing operation of a shop that issues CFDI 4.0 with payment complement, Carta Porte 3.0 and, when applicable, foreign-trade complement for IMMEX clients.

What this session is not

This session is not personalized tax advice. We do not replace your accountant or your tax attorney; we share operational knowledge derived from our experience billing corporate clients in Mexico. We also do not cover topics outside corporate merch billing: payroll, property taxes, informative returns, or special regimes other than the general regime and the IMMEX regime. For out-of-scope topics we point you to the right agency or specialist.

Reserve your seat

The next session is the last Thursday of the current month, from 10:00 to 11:30. Reserve your seat via the form on this page. If your team is larger than five attendees, consider the private bespoke session.

The webinar content reflects Corp-Merch.MX's operational practice at the time of delivery and does not constitute personalized tax advice.
