Salon R-13 Corp Naucalpan: the innovation center with fab lab and clean room where the Mexican startup presents the prototype to the corporate from CDMX before the Series B round
Salon R-13 Corp Naucalpan is the innovation center with fab lab equipped with rapid-prototyping 3D printers, clean room for electronic-component assembly, capacity for 180 attendees in demo-day format or 320 standing around the demo stations, audio system for pitch presentations, high-speed Wi-Fi with 4G/5G failover for the live demo, kitchenette with barista service and healthy snacks for investors, and a back-of-house technical freight elevator with its own entry off Avenida Primero de Mayo. The room hosts the demo days that accelerators (Endeavor, MassChallenge, Techstars, 500 Startups, Nazca Ventures, ALLVP, Dalus Capital, Cometa) run for Mexican startups to present the prototype to institutional investors and corporates before the Series B round, the R&D presentations where the innovation labs of FEMSA, Cemex, Bimbo, Liverpool, Alfa, Vitro and Ternium validate projects with the business units, the academia-industry events where Tec de Monterrey, UNAM, ITAM and IPN present thesis projects to the corporate innovation committee, and the innovation fairs where chambers (CANIETI, AMEXME, COPARMEX) recognize the tech entrepreneur of the year. What defines R-13 is the innovation logic: the merch is delivered as a working tool (encrypted USB with the prototype, technical notebook, accelerator-isotype shirt) and as founder recognition, with strict compliance of the intellectual-property protocol.
