Salon N-12: the room where the defense committee approves the strategic plan and the officer kit lands before the classified briefing

Salon N-12 sits inside one of the defense and navy briefing complexes in the defense sector corporates and training complexes of the Polanco-Bosques corridor of Mexico City: a room with a central screen for classified briefing projection, lecterns for the Defense official and the corporate director, a video conferencing room linked to the General Headquarters, a holding foyer for working coffee, a dumbwaiter from the corporate kitchen, and an independent access door for the escort personnel. This is where the defense committee sessions of the defense sector corporates run, where the quarterly civil-military relations briefings take place, where the Defense Commission sessions of supply chain suppliers convene, and where the Armed Forces liaison officer updates are reviewed. What separates Salon N-12 from a posh ballroom is the documentary order: the officer kit enters before the classified briefing, exits signed by each committee member at close, and respects the security limits of the classified file.

Salon N-12 logistics, access and custody

Salon N-12 runs on a freight dock dedicated to the corporate: the lateral dock accepts 4-ton trailers within restricted hours and by prior booking, and the 1.5-ton box truck has its own ramp under permanent surveillance. Pedestrian freight access requires prior ID, the corporate credential and a logbook signature from the operations area; there is no informal access and no entry through the corporate main door. The operations staff delivers the officer folder with visible ID and credential, and handles restocking during the recess. Salon N-12's back-of-house has three areas: the committee holding foyer (where the folder is staged), the video conferencing room (where the remaining merch sits in sealed boxes) and the Defense official's room (where reserved material is kept under signature).

For briefings with international officer presence (typically from the US, Canada, Europe and LATAM), we handle invoicing in USD at the Banco de Mexico FIX rate from the day before the session, with USMCA compliance and support for deduction as Civil-Military Relations or Corporate Defense expense in the corporate fiscal close. For briefings with national officer presence, we handle compliance with the corporate security protocol and the escort protocol when applicable. The merch chain of custody is documented with signature, time stamp and photo at every checkpoint: dock entry, operations inspection, back-of-house transfer, restocking during the recess, post-session pickup.

Salon N-12 confidentiality, compliance and restrictions

Salon N-12 enforces operating rules the merch must respect: phones off inside the room during classified briefings (officers leave their phones in the holding foyer), no merch with noise or distraction elements, no large backpacks or bags inside the room (officers leave their gear in the foyer), no POP material carrying competitor logos (frequently requested by corporates), no outside food or beverages beyond the corporate catering service, no non-uniformed personnel in the back-of-house during the session. For sessions that require limited-edition merchandising (numbered anniversary plaque, book signed by the guest author, paperweight stamped with the strategic plan year), we coordinate with the corporate operations team to ensure the piece clears the security protocol, the escort protocol and the classification protocol when the briefing is reserved.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with the 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as Civil-Military Relations, Corporate Defense or Business Intelligence expense depending on how the merch is used. For corporates with international operations we handle complementary invoicing in USD with the foreign trade complement and USMCA compliance when the merch crosses the border as part of the reserved material for the international military attaché resident abroad. For groups with Mexico and US operations, we handle bilingual (es/en) invoicing and USMCA compliance. Merch is delivered with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with the foreign trade complement when applicable, and with the payment complement when the corporate pays in instalments.

Salon N-12 frequently asked questions

Can you deliver the officer folder with a per-committee-member signed receipt?

Yes — we deliver the folder with a per-committee-member (not per-session) signed receipt, with the officer or lead Defense official's signature, the delivery time stamp and the signature of the uniformed delivery staff. The chain of custody is documented with photos when the corporate protocol allows, and the folder stays in a sealed envelope throughout the day for return at the close of the briefing.

Can you handle merch for briefings that repeat every quarter?

Yes — we run a quarterly cadence with the same brand manual, scaling the run size to the committee agenda and the special guests (international military attaches, liaison officers, defense consultants). Coordination with the lead Defense official for the editorial curation of the folder.

Can you invoice the merch as Civil-Military Relations expense?

Yes — we issue CFDI 4.0 to the SAT with the 16% IVA breakdown and deduction support as Civil-Military Relations, Corporate Defense or Business Intelligence expense depending on how the merch is used. For corporates with international operations we handle complementary invoicing in USD with the foreign trade complement and USMCA compliance.
