Logistics, access and custody of the Salón principal

The Salón principal accepts load-in from the side street between 06:00 and 09:30 on set-up day, with a log signed by Expo Santa Fe operations and the startup or fund's logistics lead. Material is moved into the booth's back-of-house in sealed boxes carrying the lot ID and held under key until registration opens. For startups bringing demo devices (drones, robots, wearables, IoT hardware) we run reinforced custody with a log signed by the startup CTO and the fund's operations lead.

For startups with operations in northern Mexico (Monterrey, Tijuana, Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua) we run split shipments to the offices with Carta Porte 3.0 plus USMCA compliance when the consignment crosses north. For startups with US operations (San Francisco, New York, Austin) we run the local tech-device transport regulations and corporate-courier coordination. For startups with European operations (Madrid, London, Berlin) we run GDPR compliance and CE serialisation when applicable.

For startups invoicing in MXP we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA break-down and the deduction support as Promoción, Marketing, Relaciones Públicas or Desarrollo de Negocio. For startup multinationals we issue the MXP invoice plus a USD complementary invoice at the Banxico FIX rate. For startups with MXP/USD dual invoicing we run the pagos complement when the transaction settles in instalments. For VC funds we run the fund's legal-area compliance invoicing and the CNBV fund-operation regulation when applicable.

CNBV, LFPDPPP and Salón principal restrictions

The Salón principal operates under the rules of the Mexican VC ecosystem and CNBV for investment events: no merch showing undisclosed material information in the pitch deck, no distribution outside the booth without the startup CEO on site, no competitor merch during one-on-one pitch sessions, no live streaming without organiser authorisation, no photography of term sheets without investor authorisation.

For startups crossing the northern border we run USMCA compliance with a certificate of origin when the tech device or electronic component comes from US or Canadian suppliers, plus the CFDI 4.0 foreign-trade complement. For startups with European operations we run GDPR for personal-data handling of European delegates and CE serialisation when applicable. For startups with Asian operations we run the local tech-device transport regulations.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA break-down and the deduction support as Promoción, Marketing, Relaciones Públicas or Desarrollo de Negocio. For startups with cross-border operations we run the pagos complement when the transaction settles in instalments. For corporate deliveries we run the corporate security protocols and the LFPDPPP (Federal Personal-Data Protection Law) when applicable to the delegates' data handling. Back-of-house delivery is documented on a vale signed by the startup CEO and the VC fund responsible.

For Startup & VC Summit peak dates (October main edition and March regional editions) we lock production ninety days out. Mid-demand dates need a sixty-day lock. Express runs under twenty-one days carry a 35% surcharge and only apply to runs under 500 pieces without LFPDPPP-regulated processes.
