Industrial Transformation México at Expo Guadalajara: the floor where Hannover Messe's robotics demos meet Bajío plant buyers refreshing their production lines, two years out from the next capex cycle

Salón Principal of Expo Guadalajara on Av. Mariano Otero 1499, Col. Verde Valle, Guadalajara, Jalisco hosts the September edition of Industrial Transformation México (ITM), the Latin American franchise of Hannover Messe. Bajío producers (Nemak, Kuo, Grupo Industrial Saltillo, Grupo Proeza, Industrias CH, Quimmco, Frisa, Tenedora-Nemak, Metalsa, Maxion Wheels, Bocar) meet the global automation suppliers (Siemens, ABB, Fanuc, Kuka, Yaskawa, Mitsubishi Electric, Rockwell Automation, Bosch Rexroth, Festo, Schunk, Beckhoff, B&R) and the Mexican integrator ecosystem running under the IMMEX regime. Live demos run throughout the day: welding robots, AGVs, machine-vision inspection lines.

Logistics, access and custody of Salón Principal

Salón Principal accepts load-in from the side street between 06:00 and 09:30 on set-up day, with a log signed by Expo Guadalajara operations and the manufacturer's logistics lead. Material is moved into the booth's back-of-house in sealed boxes carrying the lot ID and held under key until registration opens. For manufacturers bringing physical robot arms or heavy equipment for the live demo we run reinforced custody with a log signed by the application engineer and the manufacturer's logistics lead.

For manufacturers with Bajío plants we run split shipments to the plants with Carta Porte 3.0 plus USMCA compliance under the IMMEX regime. For manufacturers with European operations we run Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC compliance and CE serialisation when the equipment enters the EU market. For manufacturers with Asian operations we run the JIS, KS and GB compliance for industrial automation equipment.

For manufacturers invoicing in MXP we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA break-down (or 0% when the equipment exports under IMMEX), and the deduction support as Capacitación Técnica, Promoción Industrial or Relaciones Institucionales. For multinationals we issue the MXP invoice plus a USD complementary invoice at the Banxico FIX rate. For integrators with MXP/USD dual invoicing we run the pagos complement when the transaction settles in instalments. For deliveries to Bajío free-zones we issue the differentiated-rate invoice.

IMMEX, Hannover Messe and Salón Principal restrictions

Salón Principal operates under the rules of ITM and Hannover Messe for the exhibition of machinery and industrial equipment: no heavy-equipment operation outside the designated demo area, no visitors with open footwear in the robotics zone, no distribution outside the booth without the safety lead on site, no merch showing unapproved pricing, no equipment displayed without CE or UL compliance.

For manufacturers crossing the northern border we run USMCA compliance with a certificate of origin when the controller, servo or electronic component comes from US or Canadian suppliers, plus the CFDI 4.0 foreign-trade complement under the IMMEX regime. For manufacturers with European operations we run the CE mark and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. For manufacturers with Asian operations we run the JIS, KS and GB compliance.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA break-down (or 0% under IMMEX), industrial-traceability serialisation when applicable, and the deduction support as Capacitación Técnica, Promoción Industrial or Relaciones Institucionales. For integrators with cross-border operations we run the pagos complement when the transaction settles in instalments. For free-zone deliveries we run the temporary-import pedimento when the equipment returns to origin. Back-of-house delivery is documented on a vale signed by the manufacturer's operations lead and the safety responsible.
