Logistics, access and custody of the Salón principal

The Salón principal accepts load-in from Av. Tecnológico between 06:00 and 09:30 on set-up day, with a log signed by Expo Chihuahua operations and the manufacturer's logistics lead. Material is moved into the booth's back-of-house in sealed boxes carrying the lot ID and held under key until registration opens. For manufacturers bringing physical components (sensors, electronic modules, harnesses) for demo we run reinforced custody with a log signed by the quality engineer and the manufacturer's logistics lead.

For manufacturers with plants in Chihuahua and Ciudad Juárez we run split shipments to the plants with Carta Porte 3.0 plus USMCA compliance for consignments crossing north under the IMMEX regime (the principal crossings are the Ciudad Juárez-El Paso, Palomas-Columbus and Ojinaga-Presidio border crossings). For manufacturers with US operations (Texas, New Mexico, Arizona) we run the local electronic-component transport regulations and corporate-courier coordination. For manufacturers with Asian operations we run the local transport regulations for components arriving through the Port of Manzanillo.

For manufacturers invoicing in MXP we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA break-down (or 0% under IMMEX), and the deduction support as Capacitación Técnica, Promoción Industrial or Relaciones Institucionales. For multinational manufacturers we issue the MXP invoice plus a USD complementary invoice at the Banxico FIX rate. For IMMEX suppliers with MXP/USD dual invoicing we run the pagos complement when the transaction settles in instalments. For deliveries to the Chihuahua free-zone we issue the differentiated-rate invoice.

IMMEX, USMCA and Salón principal restrictions

The Salón principal operates under the rules of INDEX Sección Chihuahua and the federal Secretaría de Economía for the exhibition of IMMEX components: no components entering outside the booth without the quality lead on site, no prototype display without the IP-insurance cover, no merch displaying confidential device programme content, no distribution outside the booth without the compliance responsible, no military-equipment exhibition without the corresponding authorisation.

For manufacturers crossing the northern border we run USMCA compliance with a certificate of origin when the component (sensor, harness, electronic module) comes from US or Canadian suppliers, plus the CFDI 4.0 foreign-trade complement under the IMMEX regime. For manufacturers with European operations we run the CE mark and the European automotive and electronic regulations. For manufacturers with Asian operations we run the JIS, KS and GB compliance for electronic components.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA break-down (or 0% under IMMEX), IMMEX-traceability serialisation when applicable, and the deduction support as Capacitación Técnica, Promoción Industrial or Relaciones Institucionales. For suppliers with cross-border operations we run the pagos complement when the transaction settles in instalments. For deliveries to the free-zone we run the temporary-import pedimento when the component returns to origin. Back-of-house delivery is documented on a vale signed by the manufacturer's operations lead and the IMMEX compliance responsible.
