ANPIC at Poliforum León: the footwear B2B floor where Bajío tanneries show collections to international brands before the hacienda cocktail

Salón principal of Poliforum León on Blvd. Adolfo López Mateos s/n, Col. Oriental, León, Guanajuato hosts the June edition of ANPIC (Asociación Nacional de Proveedores de la Industria del Calzado), the largest B2B footwear-supply trade show in Latin America for leather, components, soles, lasts, synthetic materials, machinery and services for the footwear industry. Bajío tanneries from León, San Francisco del Rincón, San Miguel de Allende, Irapuato and Salamanca (the historic workshops of the Bajío cluster) meet the manufacturing plants of the national brands (Flexi, Cklass, Búfalo, Andrea, Cardí, Mundo Imperial, Rosetti, Ferrato, Pikolino, Pony, Andrea, Paty, Evelyn, Pancaldi, Mary cruz), the international brands seeking Mexican suppliers (Steve Madden, Guess, Vince Camuto, Sam Edelman, Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs, Nine West, Lucky Brand) and the Cámara Nacional de la Industria del Calzado (CANAICAL) and federal Secretaría de Economía delegates. The day's rhythm is leather on display, soles glued in demo, lasts at scale, brands taking orders for the Fall-Winter season.

Logistics, access and custody of the Salón principal

The Salón principal accepts load-in from Blvd. Adolfo López Mateos between 06:00 and 09:30 on set-up day, with a log signed by Poliforum operations and the tannery or manufacturer's logistics lead. Material is moved into the booth's back-of-house in sealed boxes carrying the lot ID and held under key until registration opens. For tanneries bringing exotic skins for display (cow, buffalo, goat, sheep, ostrich, crocodile, python) we run reinforced custody with a log signed by the responsible tanner and the tannery's logistics lead.

For tanneries with operations in Guanajuato, Jalisco and San Luis Potosí we run split shipments to the plants with Carta Porte 3.0 plus USMCA compliance under the IMMEX regime. For tanneries with US operations (Miami, New York, Los Angeles) we run the local leather and merch transport regulations. For tanneries with European operations (Italy, Spain, Portugal, France) we run the European tannery regulation and REACH traceability when the leather enters the EU market.

For tanneries and manufacturers invoicing in MXP we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA break-down (or 0% under IMMEX), and the deduction support as Promoción, Comercialización Internacional, Relaciones Públicas or Capacitación Técnica. For tannery multinationals we issue the MXP invoice plus a USD complementary invoice at the Banxico FIX rate. For tanneries with MXP/USD dual invoicing we run the pagos complement when the transaction settles in instalments. For deliveries to the Bajío free-zones we issue the differentiated-rate invoice.

CANAICAL, REACH and Salón principal restrictions

The Salón principal operates under the rules of CANAICAL and CICEG for the exhibition of leather, components and footwear-industry machinery: no exotic skins displayed without CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) compliance, no distribution outside the booth without the responsible tanner on site, no merch displaying confidential manufacturing programme information, no machinery exhibition without STPS normativity compliance, no photography or recording without authorisation in B2B appointments.

For tanneries crossing the northern border we run USMCA compliance with a certificate of origin when the leather or component comes from US or Canadian suppliers, plus the CFDI 4.0 foreign-trade complement under the IMMEX regime. For tanneries with European operations we run the REACH Regulation for chemical substances and the European leather traceability system. For tanneries with Asian operations we run the local footwear-manufacturing hub regulations (China, Vietnam, Indonesia).

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA break-down (or 0% under IMMEX), leather-traceability serialisation when applicable, and the deduction support as Promoción, Comercialización Internacional, Relaciones Públicas or Capacitación Técnica. For tanneries with cross-border operations we run the pagos complement when the transaction settles in instalments. For deliveries to Bajío free-zones we run the temporary-import pedimento when the leather or component returns to origin. Back-of-house delivery is documented on a vale signed by the tannery's or manufacturer's commercial director and the pavilion operations head.
