Pharma Source Mexico at Centro Citibanamex: the B2B floor where medical reps walk away with next-quarter's leave-behind binder, the Andinifar wholesalers close the seasonal replenishment order, and the Cofepris desk signs off on a serialised lot before anyone reaches the hospitality tent

Salón A of Centro Citibanamex on Av. Conscripto 311, Lomas de Sotelo, Alcaldía Miguel Hidalgo, CDMX hosts the September edition of Pharma Source Mexico — the country's largest annual pharma trade show. National and multinational laboratories (Pfizer, Roche, Novartis, AstraZeneca, Bayer, Sanofi, GSK, MSD, Asofarma, Pisa, Liomont, Probiomed, Genomma, Laboratorios Silanes, plus biotech players such as mAbxience and Celltrion) present the year's portfolios to Andinifar wholesalers, the procurement teams at IMSS, ISSSTE, Pemex, Sedena and the state health systems, and the medical reps who fly in for three days to refresh their detailing materials. The show's defining trait is the audience split: regulatory and pharmacovigilance staff during the morning, doctors and reps collecting sample kits in the afternoon.

Logistics, access and custody of Salón A

Salón A accepts load-in from Av. Industria Militar (docks 1 through 8 of Centro Citibanamex) between 06:00 and 09:30 on set-up day, with a log signed by the centre's operations team and the lab's logistics lead. Material is moved into the booth's back-of-house in sealed boxes carrying the Cofepris batch ID and held under key until registration opens. For morning openings of the professional floor we run overnight delivery with armed escort when the pharma kit value exceeds MXN 800,000.

Wholesalers rolling out to Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua and Coahuila receive split shipments with Carta Porte 3.0 plus USMCA export compliance when an IMMEX-registered maquiladora batch crosses north under a temporary import regime. Wholesalers in the south-southeast (Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatán, Quintana Roo) get consolidated hauls with local health-authority compliance when applicable and hand-off with the lab's courier. For European distribution we run IATA-compliant packing and coordinate with the lab's corporate courier for onward shipment to EU hubs.

For labs invoicing in MXP we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA break-down and the supporting deduction as a Promoción farmacéutica, Capcitación del visitador médico or Relaciones institucionales expense. For multinationals we issue the MXP invoice plus a USD complementary invoice at the Banxico FIX rate of the previous day. For wholesalers that apply 0% IVA on basic-list medicines, we split the invoice and apply the differentiated rate when the lot is on the Compendio Nacional de Insumos para la Salud.

Cofepris, USMCA and Salón A restrictions

Salón A operates under the rules of the Salón de la Farmacia and Cofepris for the exhibition of pharmaceutical products: no merch naming unauthorised indications, no medical samples entering without the current regulatory label, no distribution outside the booth without the responsible sanitario on site, no competitor logos on merch during medical-affairs sessions, and no material omitting the pharmacovigilance regulatory legend.

For pharma lots crossing north we run USMCA compliance with a certificate of origin when the API or excipient comes from US or Canadian suppliers, plus the CFDI 4.0 foreign-trade complement under temporary import for exhibition. For lots distributed to Europe we run the European Medicines Regulation and serialisation under the EU medicines verification system when the batch enters the European market. For lots commercialised in Mexico we run NOM-073 serialisation and supply-chain traceability.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA break-down (or 0% where applicable) and the deduction support as a pharmaceutical promotion, advertising or rep-training expense. For wholesalers with cross-border operations we run the pagos complement when the transaction settles in instalments. For free-zone deliveries we run the temporary-import pedimento when the lot returns to origin. Back-of-house delivery is documented on a vale signed by the lab's operations lead and the brand's regulatory responsible.
