Salón J-9 Corp — merchandising for international conventions in Cancún

Cancún is the Mexican Caribbean's convention capital and the natural entry point for delegates from the United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America who fly in a day early to mix business and resort. We produce the merchandising with suitcase-friendly packaging, multilingual labelling and the payment flexibility in MXN, USD, EUR or CAD that international operations require.

What distinguishes Cancún Center on the regional calendar

Cancún Center —on Boulevard Kukulcán Km 9, Hotel Zone, Cancún, Quintana Roo— is the largest convention venue in the Mexican Caribbean and the host of sector events that draw massive international delegations. Tourism trade shows, meetings-industry encounters, investment summits, pharmaceutical-industry conventions and one-to-one appointments with US, Canadian and European buyers all pass through its halls.

Salón J-9 inside the complex hosts up to twelve hundred guests with high-density AV production. Here the visitor arrives with a suitcase, a three-to-five-day agenda and a curated mindset: the merchandising must respect the resort-guest profile, with pieces that travel well in luggage, packaging that handles tropical humidity and multilingual labelling. No cardboard that warps at the room door.

Corp-Merch operates in Cancún with a partner workshop in the Hotel Zone and a supplier network across Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Mérida. For air-imported goods we regularise at the Cancún airport customs, efficient for medium runs that are needed urgently. When production comes from Asia we enter through the Port of Progreso and complete the last mile by road. We issue CFDI 4.0 with the option to invoice in USD, EUR or CAD per contract and operate under the Returnable Container mechanism for IMMEX clients.

Merchandising services we deliver to Salón J-9

Tropical apparel for humid weather

Linen and combed-cotton polo tees, short-sleeve shirts with UV protection, palm hats engraved with the exhibitor logo. Produced at our Hotel Zone workshop with materials that handle humidity without warping.

Gifts with Yucatecan identity

Yucatán Peninsula honey with multilingual labelling, artisanal Temozón bath salts, laser-engraved bejuco basketry, natural Mérida soaps. Each piece is labelled with the origin to reinforce the exhibitor's brand traceability.

Travel kits for delegates

Branded beach bag, roll-up microfibre towel, laser-engraved thermal bottle, multi-country travel adapter, sunscreen in heat-resistant packaging. Built so the visitor uses it during the resort stay.

Multilingual materials for delegations

Presentation folders in Spanish, English and a third language per delegation, letterhead notepads, metallic roller pens, encrypted USB drives with branded content. Common for European and Asian delegations flying in with corporate briefcases.

Production, customs and delivery to J-9

The brief for a Cancún event usually arrives with a strong international profile and a particular logistics urgency: the delegate flies the morning of the event and the material must be in the welcome kit before they reach the hotel desk. That narrow window demands express production and direct delivery to the resort room where the delegation stays, not just to the Cancún Center.

For IMMEX clients we manage three routes. The first is local production with our Hotel Zone partner workshop and direct delivery to the room, no pedimento. The second is production in the rest of Mexico with air crossing through Cancún airport, efficient for medium runs. The third is production in Asia with entry through the Port of Progreso and last-mile by road, ideal for large runs with more comfortable timelines.

When the delivery crosses the border definitively we issue a service-export invoice with CFDI 4.0 code 02. For USD, EUR or CAD operations we handle the contract in the foreign currency and issue the Mexican fiscal receipt with the agreed FX equivalence. If the goods return to the country of origin at the end of the event we process the corresponding rectification.

Suggested planning timeline

  1. Eight weeks out: creative brief, tropical curation and brand-guide review.
  2. Five weeks out: physical prototype, humidity-resistant packaging validation and signed contract with deposit.
  3. Three weeks out: finished production, individual packaging and split per delegation and delivery day.
  4. Show week: delivery to the Cancún Center service dock or directly to the resort room, verification with the coordinator and documented collection.

Frequently asked questions

Is Corp-Merch an official partner or supplier of Cancún Center?

No. Corp-Merch is an independent corporate-merchandising supplier. We have no sponsorship, exclusivity or formal alliance with the venue; our work is with the exhibitor that rents the booth.

Can you deliver directly to the resort where the delegation stays?

Yes. When the operation requires it we deliver straight to the resort room where the delegation is hosted. We coordinate with the hotel events office and deliver with tracking, a booked time slot and a receiving report.

Do you invoice in US dollars, euros or Canadian dollars?

Yes. We quote and sign the contract in USD, EUR or CAD according to the delegation origin and client preference. We issue CFDI 4.0 in MXN with the agreed FX equivalence, or a service-export invoice with code 02 when the delivery crosses the border.

Can you handle pedimento at Cancún airport?

Yes. We regularise temporary imports under the Returnable Container mechanism when applicable, or definitive imports with USMCA or corresponding treaty compliance. For IMMEX clients with an authorised programme delivery operates VAT-free.
