Salón J-7 Corp — merchandising for port and maritime conventions in Veracruz

Veracruz is the busiest commercial port on the Gulf of Mexico and the natural entry point for containerised cargo from Europe, Asia and the US East Coast. If your event touches the port-logistics cluster, the maritime sector or foreign trade, we produce the merchandising with the right customs paperwork and deliver to Salón J-7 with the punctuality the logistics chain demands.

What makes the Veracruz Congress Center different

The Veracruz Congress Center —on Boulevard Adolfo Ruíz Cortines 3495, Boca del Río— operates as the main venue for port-logistics conventions, maritime-supply trade shows, one-to-one meetings with shipping lines, foreign-trade encounters and naval-sector events. The city hosts the most important Integral Port Administration on the Gulf, with daily connectivity to Houston, Mobile, Algeciras and Rotterdam.

Salón J-7 inside the complex accommodates medium booths and audiences up to five hundred guests, with good natural lighting and ocean views in the perimeter rooms. Here the visitor is a port engineer, a shipping-line officer, a customs broker or an international-logistics buyer. The merchandising must respect the technical visitor profile: useful, durable pieces with the option to incorporate maritime motifs without falling into tourist souvenir territory.

Corp-Merch operates in Veracruz with a partner workshop in Boca del Río and a supplier network across Córdoba, Xalapa and Coatzacoalcos. When goods cross the border through the Port of Veracruz —the most efficient option for containerised cargo from Europe or Asia via Panama— we regularise through pedimento with the correct tariff classification and issue CFDI 4.0 with the tax regime your accounting requires. For IMMEX clients we manage the flow under the Returnable Container mechanism VAT-free.

Production, customs and delivery to J-7

The brief for a Veracruz event usually arrives with a strong customs-compliance component. The city is an entry and exit point for containerised cargo and many of the clients we work with have direct experience with pedimentos, tariff classification and treaty compliance. At Corp-Merch we do not improvise that paperwork: the fiscal route closes before quoting, not after.

When goods cross the border through the Port of Veracruz we regularise through pedimento at the port customs and deliver to the venue loading bay with tracking. For IMMEX clients we operate under the Returnable Container mechanism VAT-free, which significantly reduces the fiscal cost of the operation. If goods come from Asia via Panama the entry route is direct to the Port of Veracruz with no transshipment on another coast.

For events with European or Asian delegations we invoice in USD or EUR when the contract requires it and issue CFDI 4.0 in MXN with the agreed FX equivalence. When the delivery crosses the border definitively we issue a service-export invoice with code 02 of the catalogue. If the goods return to the port of origin at the end of the event we process the corresponding rectification so your fiscal balance stays clean.

Suggested planning timeline

  3. Three weeks out: finished production, individual packaging and split per booth.
  4. Show week: delivery to the Congress Center east loading bay, verification with the coordinator and documented collection.

Frequently asked questions

Is Corp-Merch an official partner or supplier of the Veracruz Congress Center?

No. Corp-Merch is an independent corporate-merchandising supplier. We have no sponsorship, exclusivity or formal alliance with the venue; our work is with the exhibitor that rents the booth.

Can you handle pedimento through the Port of Veracruz?

Yes. We regularise temporary imports under the Returnable Container mechanism when applicable, or definitive imports with USMCA or the corresponding treaty compliance. For IMMEX clients with an authorised programme delivery operates VAT-free.

Do you invoice in US dollars or euros?

Yes. We quote and sign the contract in USD or EUR when the client requires it, common for operations with European shipping lines. We issue CFDI 4.0 in MXN with the agreed FX equivalence, or a service-export invoice with code 02 when the delivery crosses the border.

Can you incorporate Veracruz regional products?

Yes. We work with suppliers of Córdoba coffee, Papantla vanilla, Caracolillo basketry and other regional crafts. Each piece is labelled with the origin to reinforce the exhibitor's brand traceability.
