Salón J-5 Corp — merchandising for tech and fintech events at Expo Santa Fe

Expo Santa Fe lives the pulse of the Mexican tech ecosystem: startups, VC funds, fintechs and developer-relations events. Here delivery speed matters as much as design —a startup announces its Series A in six weeks and the merchandising needs to arrive on time. We produce short runs with the visual quality a keynote demands.

What distinguishes Expo Santa Fe in the CDMX calendar

Expo Santa Fe —on Avenida Santa Fe 270, Santa Fe, Álvaro Obregón— has consolidated as the reference venue for events in the Mexican tech and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Local editions of global technology events, developer-relations summits, startup fairs, one-to-one sessions with VC funds and cybersecurity conferences all happen here. The proximity to corporates based in Santa Fe —Google, Microsoft, Amazon and several fintechs— makes it easier for senior profiles who do not commute across the city to attend.

Salón J-5 inside the complex hosts up to eight hundred guests in keynote format, with high-density AV production: LED screens, modular stages, simultaneous-translation booths and demo zones. Here the visitor is technical, an investor or a founder and the merchandising needs to speak the ecosystem's language: clean pieces, sober branding and, crucially, post-event utility. No fluffy plush toys or loud lanyards in a cybersecurity event.

Corp-Merch runs a reverse-counting calendar for tech events: we lock the brief in five days, freeze art in ten and produce in twenty. When the client is a startup with a freshly closed round we run USD contracts with USMCA compliance for North American suppliers. For companies with an authorised IMMEX programme we operate under the Returnable Container mechanism for samples and trade-show giveaways. We issue CFDI 4.0 with the tax regime your accounting requires, from corporate deductions to service exports when delivery crosses the border.

Merchandising services we deliver to Salón J-5

Minimalist apparel for keynotes

Oxford shirts, combed-cotton polo tees, reinforced-stitch hoodies and discreet logo embroidery. Sober palette —black, Oxford grey, off-white, technical blue— aligned with the tech-ecosystem aesthetic.

Functional gifts for developers and founders

Die-cut stickers with the logo and the repo URL, encrypted USB drives, fast-charge power banks, laser-engraved thermal bottles. Each piece is designed so the visitor uses it during the next sprint.

Materials for one-to-one sessions

NFC cards with a personalised landing page for each investor or partner, notepads with exhibitor letterhead, metal-body roller pens. Designed so the visitor leaves with actionable material rather than a generic souvenir.

Kits for speakers and VIPs

For keynote speakers, panellists and VIP guests: engraved thermal bottle, hand-bound notebook with microfibre cover, metallic-sticker set, gift box with hot-stamped exhibitor logo. Curation that respects the brand guide and the speaker protocol.

Express production and delivery to J-5

The brief for Expo Santa Fe usually arrives with short timelines and high visual standards. The tech economy rewards speed: a startup announces its Series A and needs merchandising ready in four to six weeks; a corporate with a global summit prepares the Mexican edition with North-American design standards. For both profiles we run differentiated production routes.

The express route runs with partner workshops in CDMX and the State of Mexico, capable of responding up to five thousand units in ten business days for standard lines. The premium route runs with suppliers in Guadalajara and Puebla for pieces with high-density embroidery or fine laser engraving and takes two to three weeks. When material crosses the border we regularise through a pedimento at AICM customs or through Nuevo Laredo depending on the route and USMCA compliance when applicable.

On event day we arrive at the Expo Santa Fe underground loading bay with tracking numbers and a booked time slot. The crates are identified per booth and per delivery day to ease distribution. If the keynote includes a live demo we can leave a Corp-Merch technician on site to resolve any eventuality with the delivered material. At close we remove undelivered units with the same discretion we arrived with.

Suggested planning timeline

  1. Five weeks out: creative brief, tech curation and brand-guide review.
  2. Three weeks out: physical prototype, production-route selection and signed contract with deposit.
  3. Two weeks out: finished production, individual packaging and split per booth.
  4. Show week: overnight delivery to the underground loading bay, verification with the coordinator and collection at close.

Frequently asked questions

Is Corp-Merch an official partner or supplier of Expo Santa Fe?

No. Corp-Merch is an independent corporate-merchandising supplier. We have no sponsorship, exclusivity or formal alliance with the venue; our work is with the exhibitor that rents the booth.

Can you produce in less than a month?

Yes. For standard lines and runs up to five thousand units we can respond in ten business days through the CDMX/State of Mexico express route. For larger runs or pieces with high-density embroidery the premium route takes two to three weeks.

Do you handle USMCA compliance for North American production?

Yes. When goods come from suppliers in the United States or Canada we process USMCA compliance with the corresponding certificate of origin to keep tariff preference. Your temporary or definitive import is backed by the correct paperwork.

Can you invoice in US dollars or Russian rubles?

Yes. We quote and sign the contract in USD or RUB when the client requires it, common for startups with a recent foreign-currency round. We issue CFDI 4.0 in MXN with the agreed FX equivalence, or a service-export invoice with code 02 when the delivery crosses the border.
