Salón J-1 Corp — merchandising for trade-show stands at Centro Citibanamex

Centro Citibanamex is the venue that sets the bar for punctuality in Mexico: if your shipment misses the loading-dock window there is no second chance. We produce, pack and deliver straight to Salón J-1 with tracking numbers, supplier badges and an on-site supervisor when the volume justifies it.

What makes Salón J-1 stand out inside the complex

Salón J-1 at Centro Citibanamex —on Avenida del Conscripto 311, Lomas de Sotelo, Miguel Hidalgo borough— is one of the most requested rooms for financial conventions, corporate product launches and multi-sector B2B trade shows. The column-free floorplate accommodates large-format booths with rigging up to six metres, ideal for showroom-style activations with LED walls, a press cabin and a VIP lounge. The clear height, the two loading bays and the proximity to the main lobby make it a magnet for organisers who need continuous flow between stage and exhibition floor.

The J-1 logistics chain imposes strict overnight or early-morning load-in windows, with provider access through a single check post and pre-validated supplier badges. We know that pressure because we have lived it dozens of times: creative brief, lock final art, manufacture, individual pack per SKU and finally physical delivery with a tracking number and a booked time slot. When the client asks for it, we leave a Corp-Merch supervisor on site during build-up to verify inventory and sign a receiving report with the exhibitor's floor coordinator.

When the event crosses the border, we handle temporary import under the IMMEX regime when applicable, or definitive import with a pedimento and USMCA compliance if the goods were manufactured in Asia or the United States. We issue a CFDI 4.0 invoice with the correct tariff classification and, when merchandise returns at the end of the show, we accompany you through the rectification paperwork before SAT so nothing sits as idle stock in your warehouse.

Merchandising services we deliver straight to the booth

Branded apparel for the booth team

Shirts, polo tees, softshell jackets and vests embroidered with the exhibitor's logo. We produce in full Mexican sizing (XS to 3XL) and replicate the brand guide precisely: exact logo placement, Pantone colours, no loose threads. For floor teams that stand ten hours a day, we recommend moisture-management fabrics and flat seams to prevent chafing.

High-volume giveaways

For CITIBANAMEX walk-throughs where a single booth receives several thousand visitors, we supply eco-tote bags, notebooks, pens, thermal bottles, power banks and USB drives with individual packaging. Capacity for up to twenty thousand units per order, with safety stock at our Tlalnepantla distribution centre for last-minute volume increases.

Lead-capture and souvenirs

Souvenirs with a QR code linking to the exhibitor's form, magnets, enamel pins, woven lanyards and die-cut stickers. Designed so visitors actually take them home without feeling disposable; we treat them as the first piece of the post-show follow-up. Each souvenir carries micro-printing with the event hashtag for social tracking.

VIP and speaker kits

For keynote speakers, panellists and high-value guided tours: engraved thermal bottles, premium stationery sets, encrypted USB drives, rigid MDF or cardboard gift boxes with hot stamping. Visual curation that respects the exhibitor's brand guidelines and the protocol of every invitee.

Production, customs and delivery to J-1

The chain from brief to booth at Salón J-1 has three legs. On the first leg we consolidate the creative brief and lock final art with your brand team; we close that step ideally four to six weeks before build-up. On the second leg we manufacture in our workshops or with verified partners, with physical colour proofs and a written sign-off on the prototype. On the third leg we deliver to Centro Citibanamex with tracking, a booked time slot and, when volume justifies it, an on-site Corp-Merch supervisor.

When production comes from outside Mexico, we regularise through a pedimento at AICM customs or at Nuevo Laredo depending on the route. For IMMEX clients with an authorised programme, the goods can enter VAT-free under the Returnable Container mechanism if they are samples or trade-show giveaways. We walk you through the options before locking the quote so you decide with the full fiscal picture, not blind: tax regime, CFDI use and, when services are exported, the catalogue code 02.

For overnight deliveries we run two shifts at our distribution centre: units are palletised and identified per booth and per delivery day. Each pallet carries an RFID tag and a dispatch guide. If the event requires staged delivery —pre-build, press day and main show day— we programme each cut with your floor coordinator so nothing arrives under pressure and everything sits where it should when it is needed.

Suggested planning timeline

  1. Six weeks out: creative brief, product selection, palette validation and review of the exhibitor's brand guide.
  2. Four weeks out: physical prototype sign-off, final quantities per SKU and signed contract with deposit.
  3. Two weeks out: finished production, individually labelled packaging and split by delivery day.
  4. Show week: staged delivery to the booth, inventory check with your floor coordinator and collection of undelivered units at close.

Frequently asked questions

Is Corp-Merch an official partner or supplier of Centro Citibanamex?

No. Corp-Merch is an independent corporate-merchandising supplier. We have no sponsorship, exclusivity or formal alliance with the venue; our work is with the exhibitor that rents the booth.

Can you invoice in Mexican pesos and issue CFDI 4.0?

Yes. We issue CFDI 4.0 with the tax regime and CFDI use your accounting team requires —general public, corporate deductions or service exports when the delivery crosses the border.

What happens if the event changes date or is cancelled?

We work with rescheduling clauses at no penalty up to fourteen calendar days before build-up. After that date, materials already consumed are invoiced according to progress; the remainder is rescheduled or credited to a future event.

Can you deliver fifteen thousand units in less than a month?

Yes, provided the brief closes within the first seven days of the timeline. We adjust production lines, shifts and partner workshops to respond to large runs without compromising print quality or packing times.
