Tijuana is the heart of Mexican medical-device, electronics and contract manufacturing on the northern border. Salón H-7 Corp sits in Zona Río, where regional offices of companies with headquarters in San Diego, Carlsbad or Irvine cluster together. For events where half the attendees walk across from the US, this venue solves the logistics: proximity to the crossing, bilingual infrastructure, and staff trained to receive FDA visitors or European clients.

The space is adapted for technical sessions combining presentation with product demonstration. It has simultaneous-translation booths, dedicated fibre, and redundant power for mission-critical AV. The kitchen runs a bilingual menu and the staff holds food-handling certification.

What we deliver at this venue

Plant and bilingual-staff uniforms

ESD lab coats for electronics production areas, uniforms for clean-room medical-device manufacturing, branded polo shirts for the administrative staff who cross the border regularly. For ISO 13485 certified companies, the uniforms match plant protocols and documentation ships with every batch.

FDA visitor and auditor kits

Rigid-cover folders, Spanish/English letterhead, zip document wallets, encrypted USB, and metal pens. When the audit is FDA-led, we add bilingual copies of the Quality Manual and process-by-process dividers. For European clients we also include French or German when requested.

Medical-device fair merchandise

Booth participation at MD&M West or MedTec, where Tijuana's maquila base meets California buyers, requires bilingual material. We deliver table throws, banners, technical backpacks with the client's brand, and product samples in discreet packaging.

USMCA-meeting material

When a contract extension under USMCA is signed, or a new investment is announced, we deliver commemorative pieces: executive folders with leather engraving, metal rollerball pens, and USBs with the agreement documentation. For clients managing bilateral relations we also ship French material when Canadian parties are involved.

Production and logistics on the border

For Tijuana and Mexicali clients we produce locally with partner workshops in the zone, and add capacity from our central Vallejo floor for large runs. The operational advantage is that the northern border lets us import fabrics and components at preferential USMCA duties, which lowers cost on specific lines.

Invoicing for Tijuana maquiladora clients runs with CFDI 4.0 including the foreign-trade complement when the goods cross the border. For US clients with operations in Tijuana we run split invoicing: domestic product in MXN, cross-border material in USD with the corresponding pedimento.

Shipment from our central floor runs by consolidated road transport with Carta Porte 3.0 to Tijuana, typically 36–48 hours. For urgent deliveries we run air freight at additional cost. We coordinate with the client's gatehouse and never charge extra for loading windows that shift at the last minute.

Planning timeline

  1. 10–12 weeks out: maquiladora client brief, alignment with ISO 13485 or applicable standard.
  2. 6–8 weeks out: textile prototypes, bilingual material validation, quantity lock-in.
  3. 3–4 weeks out: production, final pack-out, FDA or auditor documentation.
  4. 72 hours out: delivery to the venue or to the plant, on-site setup with a bilingual supervisor.

Frequently asked questions

Do you produce clean-room uniforms under ISO 13485?

Yes. We work with fabrics and suppliers certified for clean-room environments and ship compliance documentation with every batch.

Can you invoice with the foreign-trade complement?

Yes. We issue CFDI 4.0 with the foreign-trade complement when the goods cross the border. We coordinate with the customs broker so the document is consistent.

Do you deliver to Mexicali and Ensenada?

Yes. We deliver regularly to Mexicali, Ensenada, Rosarito and Tecate. For San Diego-bound deliveries under USMCA, we handle the crossing with the client's broker.

Do you run events where half the attendees walk across?

Yes, regularly. We coordinate with the venue so Mexican and US security teams are aligned, and we issue QR-coded credentials that scan on both sides of the border.
