Salon F-11: where the 250,000-credit sale of the Sian Kaan mangrove closes and the mangrove seed card lands before the morning coffee

Salon F-11 occupies the carbon floor of a Santa Fe tower: a main hall with LED wall for the REDD+ project and certified hectares presentation, terminals with the MRV (Measurement, Reporting and Verification) registry, a one-on-one room with 6 soundproof individual cabins, a bookbuilding anteroom carrying credit term sheets, a Slow Food protocol kitchen, and two pedestrian accesses: a main one with biometric turnstile and a service one with notarial logbook. This is where corporate buyers with SBTi targets price carbon bonds, where voluntary carbon market (VCM) credits are sold by reforestation and conservation project developers, where blue bonds for mangrove and sustainable fishery projects are issued, where prepayment contracts for institutional buyers run, where World Bank and IFC missions for Lacandona jungle carbon capture projects convene, and where forward credit sale contracts with specialised funds (Carbon Growth Partners, South Pole) sign. What separates Salon F-11 is not the room but the merch language: the corporate buyer recognition must align with the underlying asset (mangrove seed for blue bond, pine seed for forestry project, biodiversity book for reserve project), the recyclable material and the editorial curation of the project.

Salon F-11 logistics, access and MRV custody

Salon F-11 runs on a dedicated basement loading dock: heavy freight (boxes with merch, MRV documentation, verification reports) goes up the east-wing freight elevator with restricted hours and notarial logbook. Light freight goes up the service elevator with prior ID and developer credential. The developer operations team signs the merch entry and walks it to the one-on-one anteroom where it is staged on a side table. The bookbuilding room has a secure holding area with boxes sealed under the developer stamp for sensitive material (legal opinions, MRV registries, VCS or Gold Standard certificates), and the protocol kitchen has a locked cabinet for the international buyer hospitality. The notary attesting to the credit sale contract and to the prepayment signature has a dedicated cubicle, with paperwork on security paper and notarial seal.

For contracts with international buyer presence (typically US, Canada, Europe and Asia), we handle invoicing in USD at the Banco de Mexico FIX rate from the day before delivery, with USMCA compliance and support for deduction as Carbon Bond, Voluntary Market or Climate Financing expense in the developer fiscal close. For contracts with SEMARNAT, CONAFOR or CNBV representative presence, we handle the developer security protocol and the Policia Bancaria e Industrial protocol when applicable. The merch chain of custody is documented with signature, time stamp, photograph and seal number at every checkpoint: dock entry, operations review, anteroom staging, restocking during the bookbuilding, post-event collection. The recyclable material residue is handed off to the developer authorised recycler for traceability certification.

Salon F-11 confidentiality, compliance and restrictions

Salon F-11 enforces operating rules the merch must respect: no phones in the main hall during book questions, no merch made of non-recycled or non-certified materials (VCM guidelines reject PVC, non-recycled polyester and untraceable metal), no backpacks inside the bookbuilding room (analysts use lockers in the corridor), no POP material with third-party logos beyond the developer and the buyer, no outside food or beverage beyond the protocol kitchen service with organic certification. For contracts requiring limited-edition merchandising (numbered plate for the contract close, book signed by the developer tracing the project timeline, paperweight stamped with the first credit issuance year), we coordinate with the developer operations area to ensure the piece clears the security protocol, the compliance protocol, the environmental traceability protocol and the transmission protocol when the bookbuilding is internal.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with the 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as Carbon Bond, Voluntary Market or Climate Financing expense depending on how the merch is used. For developers with IMMEX operations or US market exposure, we handle complementary invoicing in USD or EUR with USMCA compliance support when the merch crosses the border as part of the international buyer resident abroad disclosure material. For carbon issuances under dual jurisdiction (Mexican market and VCS or Gold Standard international), we handle bilingual (es/en) invoicing and USMCA compliance when applicable. The merch ships with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with the foreign trade complement when applicable, with the payment complement when the developer pays in instalments or against the sale contract closing, and with the recyclable material traceability certificate when the buyer requests it for SBTi reporting.

Salon F-11 MOQ, pricing and reservations

Corporate buyer folder — from MXN 1,650 before VAT per piece at a 32-piece run. Developer staff merch — from MXN 3,250 before VAT per person at an 18-piece run. International buyer hospitality — from MXN 2,890 before VAT per piece at an 8-piece run. Project developer recognition — from MXN 10,500 before VAT per piece at a 4-piece run. Pricing does not include the Salon F-11 rental, which is quoted directly with the building events area depending on the day, the hours, the technical setup and the additional services (organic protocol kitchen, MRV registry terminals, bookbuilding room, transmission).

For carbon contracts on high-demand dates (closings of corporate buyer SBTi target contracts, VCM credit sales by Mexican developers, blue bond issuances for mangrove projects) we block the calendar 30 days ahead with a firm written commitment. For contracts on low-demand dates we block 14 days ahead. Express production under 14 days carries a +35% surcharge for the curation and dispatch. The reservation runs on a fourteen-point brief: deal date, carbon bond type, certified hectares, MRV methodology (VCS, Gold Standard, CAR, ACR), number of invited buyers, pieces per package, developer brand manual, buyer protocol, transmission compliance, freight logistics, post-event donation, SAT invoicing and USMCA compliance when the merch crosses the border.

Salon F-11 frequently asked questions

Can you deliver the corporate buyer folder with a receipt signature per account?

Yes — we deliver the folder with a receipt per corporate account (not per individual analyst), signed by the sustainability director or SBTi compliance officer, with delivery time and the uniformed staff signature. The chain of custody is documented with photograph when developer protocol allows, and the folder is held in sealed envelopes through the day for return at book close.

Can you handle the merch for multi-year carbon projects?

Yes — we run multi-year programming with the same developer brand manual, scaling the run by project stage (preparation, validation, verification, credit issuance, forward sale) and invited buyers (corporates with SBTi targets, family offices with a carbon mandate, specialised funds). Coordination with the developer MRV director for the editorial curation of the buyer folder.

Can you invoice the merch as a carbon bond expense?

Yes — we issue CFDI 4.0 to the SAT with the 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as Carbon Bond, Voluntary Market or Climate Financing expense depending on how the merch is used. For developers with IMMEX operations, we handle complementary invoicing in USD with the foreign trade complement and USMCA compliance, and support for the deductibility of the recyclable material donation to authorised operators.
