Salon D-15: the room where the privacy officer presents the Annual Data Protection Report to the Audit Committee and the DPO kit lands before the fiscal close coffee

Salon D-15 is the personal data protection compliance room on the 14th floor of a corporate tower in Polanco: 50 seats with a side table for the DPO team, a 5-metre LED screen with the privacy risk matrix and ARCO rights flow, video conference bridge to the 8 regions where the corporate has databases, a data subject care room with 4 working positions to handle ARCO requests, a soundproofed coffee break foyer, and two accesses: main with biometric turnstile and freight with logbook. This is where the quarterly Personal Data Protection Report presentations to the Audit Committee run, where INAI appearances for substantive investigation handling happen, where Privacy Committee sessions for new international transfers approval sit, where LFPDPPP training workshops for staff handling personal data take place, where privacy due diligence for M&A and for vendors handling sensitive data (health, biometric, financial) sits, and where the information security committee sessions for incident review gather. What separates Salon D-15 from the venue capacity is the LFPDPPP compliance: the DPO kit is delivered signed by the privacy officer at the start, signed again at close, and filed with the corporate seal to support INAI audits.

Salon D-15 logistics, access and personal data custody

Salon D-15 runs on a service elevator with restricted hours: freight travels up the south-wing service elevator, not the main one; the freight elevator has a logbook and the DPO's signature. Light freight (DPO kits, ARCO team merch, bottled water) goes up the service elevator with visible ID and credential. The DPO team signs the merch entry and walks the material to the Salon D-15 data subject care room, where it is staged on a side table before doors open. The data subject care room has supervisory cameras that record the merch hand-over and the data subject's signature (when applicable), backed up on the corporate server for five years to support INAI audits.

For sessions with international vendor presence handling sensitive personal data (AWS, Azure, GCP, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, biometric providers, health providers), we handle invoicing in USD at the Banco de Mexico FIX rate from the day before delivery, with USMCA compliance when the merch crosses the border, and support for deduction as LFPDPPP Training or Privacy Due Diligence expense in the corporate fiscal close. For sessions with INAI presence, we handle compliance with the corporate security protocol and the Policia Bancaria e Industrial protocol when applicable. The chain of custody is documented with signature, time stamp and folio at every checkpoint.

Salon D-15 confidentiality, compliance and restrictions

Salon D-15 enforces LFPDPPP compliance rules the merch must respect: phones off inside the room during Personal Data Protection Report Q&A, no merch with noise or visual distraction elements, no large backpacks inside the room (officers use lockers), no POP material carrying unauthorised vendor logos (per the DPO), no outside food or beverages beyond the corporate kitchen service. For sessions that require limited-edition merchandising (International Data Protection Day polo, book signed by the former INAI president commissioner, paperweight stamped with the year of the LFPDPPP publication), we coordinate with the DPO and INAI to ensure the piece clears the privacy protocol and the Annual Report protocol.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with the 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as LFPDPPP Training, Privacy Due Diligence or ARCO Rights Handling expense depending on how the merch is used. For corporates with international operations or US market exposure, we handle complementary invoicing in USD with USMCA compliance support when the vendor kit crosses the border. For groups with dual listings (BMV and NYSE/Nasdaq), we handle bilingual (es/en) invoicing and carta porte 3.0 with the foreign trade complement. The payment complement applies when the corporate pays in instalments or when delivery happens against the DPO's signed receipt.
