Salon A-15: the room where the ambassador receives the box with the guest country seal and the first cooperation card gets signed before dinner

Salon A-15 is the diplomatic hospitality room of the corporate campus: 180 square metres in a gallery layout with capacity for 80 to 120 people, ambassador or diplomatic mission chief lectern with backdrop LED screen, adjacent private room for bilateral meetings, foyer for VIP guest reception with protocol service, contemporary Mexican art exhibition curated for the occasion, direct exit to the side garden for the outdoor cocktail. This is where the diplomatic receptions of the ambassadors accredited in Mexico run, where the gala dinners in honour of visiting heads of state land, where the national day celebrations of the trade partner countries happen (US, Canada, EU, Japan, South Korea, China, UK, Germany, France, Spain), where the corporate VIP protocol events happen, and where the bilateral economic cooperation dinners close out. What distinguishes Salon A-15 is the protocol: the merch gets handed with the formality of diplomacy, not marketing.

Salon A-15 logistics, access and security protocol

Salon A-15 runs on a restricted access basis: the lateral dock of the campus (open 6:00 to 22:00, trailers up to 12 tons) serves for the diplomatic reception material freight, and room entry requires prior ID with fingerprint or facial recognition, the campus credential, the diplomatic corps accreditation and the Salon A-15 logbook signature. The merch chain of custody is particularly sensitive: the boxes with the diplomatic gifts are handed at the close of the reception with the diplomatic guest and the host CEO's signatures, and the corporate keeps the signed copy as evidence of delivery for the institutional file. Undelivered boxes are returned to back-of-house and stored in the campus vault with the corporate seal and the protocol chief's signature.

For diplomatic receptions with international presence (typically from the diplomatic missions accredited in Mexico from the US, Canada, EU, Asia, Latin America), we handle invoicing in USD at the Banco de Mexico FIX rate from the day before the event, with USMCA compliance and deduction support as Institutional Relations or Protocol expense in the corporate fiscal close. For receptions with IMMEX or US operations, we handle complementary invoicing to the SAT with the 16% IVA breakdown and USMCA compliance support when the merch crosses the border as part of the diplomatic gift to the ambassador.

Salon A-15 compliance, restrictions and permits

Salon A-15 enforces operating rules the merch must respect: no personal electronic devices inside the room (diplomatic guests deposit their devices in a locked box at entry, and the box opens at exit), no merch with noise or distraction elements, no food inside the room (only closed-container coffee and water), no POP material with third-party logos (frequently requested by the diplomatic corps), no entry for non-reception persons without written authorisation from the protocol chief. For receptions that require limited-edition merch (numbered diplomatic relationship anniversary box, book signed by the Mexican guest artist, paperweight with the year of the bilateral relationship), we coordinate with the campus operations team to ensure the piece clears the security protocol, the diplomatic protocol and the protocol protocol when applicable.

For SAT invoicing we issue CFDI 4.0 with the 16% IVA breakdown and deduction support as Institutional Relations, Protocol or International Cooperation expense depending on how the merch is used. For corporates with IMMEX or US exposure, we handle complementary invoicing in USD or EUR with USMCA compliance support when the merch crosses the border as part of the diplomatic gift. Merch is delivered with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with the foreign trade complement when applicable, and with the payment complement when the corporate pays in instalments.
