Ceremony Plaza — where the Mexican industrial group celebrates its 50th anniversary, unveils the plaque with the governor and receives the diplomatic corps

The Ceremony Plaza is the open or semi-covered space where Mexican industrial groups, IMMEX corporates, and financial institutions hold high-impact protocol events: the corporate's 50th anniversary celebration, the plaque unveiling with the state governor, the new Bajío plant inauguration, the agreement signing with the university, the public recognition of the founding partner. Capacity runs 1000 to 3000 in open format, and 600 to 1500 in semi-covered format with tent or palenque. What distinguishes the Ceremony Plaza from any other open space is not the size (most ceremony plazas in CDMX, Monterrey, Guadalajara and the Bajío have comparable dimensions), nor the electrical capacity (three-phase for stage, professional audio, robotic lighting, broadcast cameras), nor the access (pedestrian and vehicular with valet parking). What distinguishes it is the protocol. At the Ceremony Plaza, the corporate receives the state governor, the ambassador from a country with USMCA operations, the industrial group's board chair, the diplomatic corps, the international guest from the binational chamber. The merch delivered at the Ceremony Plaza has to respond to the event's protocol: order of precedence, corporate manual, guest-of-honour manual, state government ceremonial protocol compliance when applicable, and Banca y Industrial Police security protocol when public officials are present.

Ceremony Plaza logistics, access and protocol

The Ceremony Plaza operates with two or three load-in accesses depending on location: the main heavy-traffic access accepts stage, chairs, tent or palenque, and POP material with hours of 6:00 to 22:00 (typically the day before the event); the secondary light-traffic access accepts merch and protocol material with hours of 8:00 to 20:00; the guest-of-honour access (pedestrian, with barrier) accepts the governor, ambassador, and diplomatic corps with prior identification and escort. The Ceremony Plaza mounting window is 12 to 36 hours before the event (for events with full stage, tent and furniture), and the dismounting window is 6 to 12 hours after close.

For ceremonies with the state governor or federal government official presence, we coordinate with the corporate protocol team and the state government ceremonial (typically through the state government's Protocol Coordination). For ceremonies with diplomatic corps presence (ambassador, consul, commercial attaché), we comply with the embassy or consulate protocol, with discreet pieces and synchronised load-in logistics with the international guest's arrival. For ceremonies with television broadcast (news coverage of the event), we comply with the broadcaster's protocol, with camera-visible and camera-hidden pieces.

For corporates with IMMEX or US invoicing, we provide complementary SAT invoicing in USD at the Banco de México rate of the day before the event and USMCA support when the merch crosses the border as part of the hospitality kit. The merch chain of custody is documented with signature, time, and photography at each control point: load-in entry, inspection by operations staff, transfer to back-of-house, mounting on the Ceremony Plaza table or counter, restocking during the ceremony, post-event collection.

Ceremony Plaza compliance, prohibitions and permits

The Ceremony Plaza has operating rules the merch must respect: no pyrotechnics in zones near the plaza (compliance with Civil Protection regulations, the Federal Law on Firearms and Explosives, and the state government regulation when applicable), no merch with flammable or sharp materials, no pets, no food or beverage outside the authorised catering service. For ceremonies requiring limited-edition merch (numbered anniversary polo, signed book by the guest author, press with the corporate anniversary year), we liaise with the Ceremony Plaza operations team and the corporate ceremonial to ensure the piece complies with the security protocol, the corporate protocol, and the state government or diplomatic corps protocol when applicable.

For ceremonies with international guest presence, we comply with the diplomatic corps and binational chamber protocol, with discreet pieces and synchronised load-in logistics with the guest's arrival. For ceremonies with regulator presence (CNBV, Banxico, CONDUSEF, COFECE, COFEPRIS, SE, Economía when applicable), we comply with the regulator and corporate protocol.

For SAT invoicing, we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as Marketing, Public Relations, or Training expense, depending on the merch use. For corporates with IMMEX or US operations, we provide complementary invoicing in USD or EUR and USMCA support. The merch is delivered with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with foreign trade complement when applicable, and with payment complement when the corporate pays in instalments.
