Central Patio — where the SME suppliers from Bajío, Monterrey and Saltillo meet the parent company and the competition at the same time
The Central Patio is the space where Mexican industrial groups hold corporate fairs, Supplier Days, capacity expos, internal innovation fairs, and annual distributor network meetings. Capacity runs 500 to 2000 in fair format (with 3x3, 4x4 or 6x6-metre stands or modules) and 800 to 3500 in open format (no stands, with thematic stations). What distinguishes the Central Patio from a conventional expo room is not the clear height (typically 8 to 12 metres, sufficient for two-level stands), nor the floor (polished concrete or industrial tile, heavy-traffic resistant), nor the electrical capacity (three-phase, sufficient for professional lighting and demonstration equipment). What distinguishes it is the dual role. At the Central Patio, the corporate hosting its suppliers (the 80 to 200 strategic suppliers of the industrial group, the 30 to 60 distributors in the network, the 12 to 25 technology partners in the ecosystem) aims to do two things: transmit next year's strategy and measure the suppliers' commitment to that strategy. The Central Patio merch has to solve both problems: strategic supplier recognition (premium kit), participating supplier recognition (standard kit), stand staff uniformity, and confidentiality protocol compliance when dealing with IMMEX chain suppliers.

The Central Patio operates with two or three load-in accesses depending on location: the main heavy-traffic access (12-tonne trucks) accepts stands, structures and POP material with hours of 6:00 to 22:00; the secondary light-traffic access (3.5-tonne vans and cargo vans) accepts merch and protocol material with hours of 8:00 to 20:00; the staff access (pedestrian) accepts corporate and supplier staff with prior credential. The Central Patio mounting window is 12 to 24 hours before the event (for multi-day fairs) or 6 to 10 hours before the event (for single-day expos). Central Patio operations staff audit every merch box and POP material parcel with metal detector and visual inspection.
For multi-day fairs (two or three-day Supplier Day), we run silent merch restocking overnight, with discreet staff and delivery tracking. For fairs with international supplier presence (typically from the US, Europe or Asia, at corporates with IMMEX chain), we invoice in USD at the Banco de México rate of the day before the event and USMCA compliance when the merch crosses the border as part of the hospitality kit. For fairs with presence of officials from SAT, SE, Economía, or foreign commercial representation, we comply with the regulator and corporate protocol, with discreet pieces and synchronised load-in logistics.
The merch chain of custody is documented with signature, time, and photography at each control point: load-in entry, inspection by operations staff, transfer to stand or back-of-house, restocking during the event, post-event collection. For corporates with IMMEX or US invoicing, we provide complementary SAT invoicing with 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as Marketing or Public Relations expense.
Central Patio compliance, prohibitions and permits
The Central Patio has operating rules the merch must respect: no pyrotechnics indoors, no merch with sharp edges, no merch with flammable materials, no pets, no food or beverage outside the Central Patio authorised catering service. For fairs requiring limited-edition merch (numbered anniversary polo, signed book by the guest speaker, press with the corporate anniversary year), we liaise with the Central Patio operations team to ensure the piece complies with the security protocol, the corporate protocol, and the participating suppliers' protocol.
For fairs with television broadcast or media coverage, we comply with the broadcast protocol with camera-visible and camera-hidden pieces. For fairs with regulator presence (CNBV, Banxico, CONDUSEF, COFECE, COFEPRIS, SE, Economía when applicable), we comply with the regulator and corporate protocol, with discreet pieces and synchronised load-in logistics.
For SAT invoicing, we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as Marketing, Public Relations, or Training expense, depending on the merch use. For corporates with IMMEX or US operations, we provide complementary invoicing in USD or EUR and USMCA support. The merch is delivered with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with foreign trade complement when applicable, and with payment complement when the corporate pays in instalments.
