Estadio Azteca is located at Calzada de Tlalpan 3465, Santa Úrsula Coapa, Tlalpan borough — 30 minutes from the airport and connected by metro line 2 at the Estadio Azteca station. It was inaugurated in 1966 and seats 87,000 in game configuration. It is the only stadium in the world to have hosted two FIFA World Cup finals (1970 and 1986) and will be the first venue for three World Cup finals (1970, 1986 and 2026). The stadium is administered by Club América as main owner and receives Liga MX, NFL, international tour and corporate event games.
