VIP Auditorium — where the Mexican private bank celebrates its premium clients with a gala-concert and nobody wants to go home

The VIP Auditorium is the premium space where Mexican financial institutions, PE funds, brokerage houses, and family offices hold the gala-concerts, private recitals, premium experiences for private banking clients, and hospitality events that accompany the launch of a new fund or the corporate's anniversary. Capacity runs 200 to 400 in theatre format with VIP round tables at the front, and 150 to 280 in seated dinner format with central stage. What distinguishes the VIP Auditorium from a conventional concert hall is not the acoustics (typically concert-grade, with wood or fabric acoustic panels, calibrated delays, high-fidelity audio), nor the visibility (theatre-style seating with good sightlines from any seat, no posts or obstacles), nor the stage (with orchestra pit, professional backline, artist dressing rooms). What distinguishes it is the convergence of two worlds. At the VIP Auditorium, the corporate gala dinner (with long-table cloth laying, porcelain tableware, sommelier service) converges with the private concert (with international artist, curated repertoire, premium client meet & greet). The VIP Auditorium merch has to respond to that convergence: gala presentation (not festival), boutique editorial curation (not mass concert), corporate protocol compliance (private banking, family office), and artist protocol (manager, rider, USMCA).

VIP Auditorium logistics, access and protocol

The VIP Auditorium operates with one or two load-in accesses depending on location: when inside a five-star hotel or premium convention centre, access is via the hotel or convention centre service corridor with prior identification and signature in the logbook, typically during a 6:00 to 10:00 or 14:00 to 17:00 window; when in a corporate with its own VIP Auditorium, access is via the corporate back-of-house with restricted hours. Delivery is typically during a 14:00 to 18:00 window (before the evening event start). VIP Auditorium operations staff audit every merch box with metal detector and visual inspection.

For gala-concerts with international artist presence (typically from the Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or Latin American scene with USMCA operations), we coordinate with the artist manager, technical rider, and customs regime when the merch crosses the border as part of the hospitality kit (USMCA compliance, foreign trade complement, carta porte 3.0). For gala-concerts with international premium client presence (typically residing in the US, Europe or Asia), we invoice in USD or EUR at the Banco de México rate of the day before the event and support for foreign-investment regime compliance when applicable.

For corporates with IMMEX or US invoicing, we provide complementary SAT invoicing with 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as Marketing or Public Relations expense. For financial institutions under CNBV regime, we comply with the regulator and corporate protocol, with discreet pieces and synchronised load-in logistics with the premium client agenda. The merch chain of custody is documented with signature, time, and (where the VIP Auditorium protocol allows) discreet photography at each control point: service entry, inspection by operations staff, transfer to auxiliary room, restocking during the event, post-event collection.

VIP Auditorium compliance, prohibitions and permits

The VIP Auditorium has operating rules the merch must respect: no mobile phones in the room during the concert, no merch with noise or distraction elements, no large backpacks or bags in the room, no POP material with third-party logos (frequently requested by financial institutions and family offices), no food or beverage outside the VIP Auditorium or authorised catering service. For gala-concerts requiring limited-edition merch (numbered fund anniversary polo, signed book by the artist, press with the gala-concert date), we liaise with the VIP Auditorium operations team and the artist manager to ensure the piece complies with the security protocol, the corporate protocol, and the artist protocol.

For gala-concerts with public officials, diplomatic corps, or international artist presence, we comply with the VIP Auditorium security protocol and the Banca y Industrial Police when applicable. For gala-concerts with internal broadcast to corporate or fund offices, we comply with the broadcast protocol with camera-visible and camera-hidden pieces, depending on the corporate manual.

For SAT invoicing, we issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA breakdown and support for deduction as Marketing, Public Relations, or Training expense, depending on the merch use. For corporates with IMMEX or US operations, we provide complementary invoicing in USD or EUR and USMCA support. The merch is delivered with carta porte 3.0 when interstate or international transit applies, with foreign trade complement when applicable, and with payment complement when the corporate pays in instalments.
