Uniform rollouts for IMMEX and Mexican industrial operations

Multi-site uniform rollouts for plant, warehouse, office and field operations across Mexico — IMMEX (Industria Manufacturera, Maquiladora y de Servicios de Exportación) program compliance, NOM-004 textile labelling, NOM-006 PPE complement where applicable, NOM-018-STPS-2015 harmonised system for hazard identification, mixed sizing and quarterly replenishment. We run programs for Tier-1 and Tier-2 manufacturing — Foxconn Juárez, Flex Tijuana, Jabil, Sanmina, Benchmark, Celestica, Plantronics, Bose, Electrolux, Samsung Tijuana, LG Monterrey, Mabe San Luis Potosí, Vitro, Bimbo, Sigma, Lala, Bachoco, Alpura, Arca Continental, Coca-Cola FEMSA, Femsa, Nemak, Ternium, Grupo Carso, Grupo BAL, Peñoles, Grupo México, and oilfield-services clients (Halliburton, Schlumberger SLB, Weatherford, Baker Hughes).

When the uniform has to walk 14 hours on the line

The uniform rollout for a Mexican plant or industrial operation is not the corporate-apparel program you manage with a three-size brochure. When the uniform has to enter a Grupo Bimbo plant in northern Mexico with 18,000 employees, a Foxconn line in Juárez with 8,000 operators on shift A, a PEMEX refinery under NOM-009-STPS-2011 (safety conditions for working at height), or the Peñoles metallurgical complex in Torreón with 5,200 staff, the uniform has to handle 50+ industrial wash cycles, hold the corporate Pantone colour, keep the discrete embroidery crisp under industrial ironing pressure, and meet the client's brand manual without exceptions.

Corp-Merch Mexico has been running multi-site rollouts since 2018. We work with clients running 5 to 50 plants in the country, with a delivery schedule that coordinates with the plant's maintenance windows (which have downtime slots for uniform changeovers), with HR (which keeps sizing updated quarterly), with compliance (which verifies NOM compliance before delivery), and with procurement (which schedules the purchase order against the fiscal calendar). When the brief says "we need a quarterly rollout of 8,500 pieces across 12 plants in Juárez, Tijuana, Reynosa and Matamoros, with discrete embroidery by tier (operator, supervisor, manager), NOM-004 compliance and scheduled delivery between day 5 and day 20 of each quarter", we respond with a recurring fulfilment plan at 1,000+ pieces a day capacity.

Uniform-rollout programs we run

Plant uniforms for operators and technicians

Combed-cotton piqué polo with discrete embroidery (corporate logo + employee tier), cotton-poly industrial trousers with elastic waist, oxford shirt for supervisors, flame-retardant industrial shirt when the plant is gas or petrochemical, hi-vis vest with RFID badge for access control, hard hat and PPE elements when applicable (through a certified partner). Quarterly runs of 500–50,000 pieces with mixed gender sizing and NOM-004 compliance.

Warehouse and logistics uniforms

For warehouse, picking, packing and shipping staff: NOM-018-STPS-2015 class-2 hi-vis vest, high-performance cotton polo, industrial trouser with knee reinforcement, lumbar belt for heavy picking, certified industrial footwear (through a partner), branded picking gloves, magnetic-stripe badge. Quarterly runs of 200–12,000 pieces with mixed sizing and scheduled delivery to CEDIS in CDMX, MTY, GDL, Tijuana, Veracruz, Mérida.

Industrial-office and technical-staff uniforms

For admin staff, technical staff, engineers and middle-management on plant: oxford shirt with corporate embroidery, dress-industrial trousers for the plant office, softshell jacket for staff moving between office and floor, comfortable industrial footwear (through a partner), safety kit when applicable. Quarterly runs of 100–4,000 pieces with mixed sizing and respect for the client's industrial dress code.

Field-staff and remote-operator uniforms

For staff operating at remote sites (oil field, mine, electrical substation, construction site): anti-UV uniform for solar-exposed operators, thermal jacket for high-altitude work, light rain gear with sealed seams, industrial boots (through a partner), hard hat with badge, AR-coated safety glasses. Monthly or bi-weekly runs with delivery to the operator's site or the contractor's in-zone warehouse.

NOM, IMMEX and per-lot traceability

NOM compliance in Mexico is not optional. NOM-004-SCFI-2006 regulates textile-product labelling (fibre composition, care instructions, Mexican sizing where applicable). NOM-018-STPS-2015 regulates the harmonised system for hazard identification and communication in the workplace. NOM-006-STPS-2014 regulates the conditions and procedures for managing PPE complement when the uniform becomes PPE. NOM-009-STPS-2011 applies for work at height. NOM-035-STPS-2018 applies for psychosocial risk factors when the uniform is part of a corporate-wellness program.

For clients running the IMMEX program (Industria Manufacturera, Maquiladora y de Servicios de Exportación) we operate temporary or definitive import flows depending on the case: temporary import with pedimento and Annex 24 when the uniform crosses the border as an export-input, definitive import when the uniform stays in the Mexican market. We run the flow with the client's customs broker, under TIGIE classification, and never mix IMMEX inventory with definitive-import inventory in the same physical pallet.

Per-lot traceability includes: purchase order with release number, pre-pack photo of the piece, lot serial number for audit, compliance documentation per destination plant and, when the client asks, a NOM-compliance dossier signed by the workshop lead. This dossier is kept for 5 years under the CFF.

Pricing, MOQ and lead times — uniform rollouts

Pricing in MXN excluding VAT. 16% VAT broken out on CFDI 4.0 with USO CFDI G03 (general expenses). MOQ from 100 pieces per destination plant, 500 pieces for a multi-site launch, 100 pieces per quarterly replenishment. Recurring quarterly runs (1,000+ pieces per quarter) unlock preferred pricing with a 4–8 quarter commitment. Lead times: 10–14 working days for a standard rollout with discrete embroidery, 4–6 weeks for a multi-site launch with tier-specific brand manuals and full NOM compliance, 5–7 working days for urgent replenishment at +30% surcharge.

The recurring invoice model lets the client pay a fixed monthly fee plus a per-piece variable cost, simplifying the purchasing team's admin load. When the client prefers buying on a direct purchase order with net-30 terms, we run that model too, with early-payment discount when applicable.

FAQ — uniform rollouts

Are you NOM-004, NOM-006 and NOM-018 compliant?

Yes — uniforms carry the NOM-004 label (composition and care), NOM-006 compliance where the PPE complement applies, NOM-018-STPS-2015 compliance where hazard identification applies. Per-lot compliance dossier signed by the workshop lead.

Do you handle the IMMEX pedimento flow?

Yes — we run temporary or definitive import flows depending on the case. We work with the client's customs broker, under TIGIE classification, and never mix IMMEX inventory with definitive-import inventory in the same pallet.

Can you run a multi-site rollout across 12 plants?

Yes — we coordinate rollouts for clients running 5 to 50 plants in the country, with per-plant delivery schedule, sizing kept current by the client's HR, NOM compliance verified per plant, and a consolidated invoice per program.

Can you produce 50,000 pieces a quarter?

Yes — CDMX workshop at 18,000 pieces/day capacity, mirror plant in GDL for the west and Bajío, embroidery partner in Monterrey for the north. Quarterly runs of 50,000–250,000 pieces with scheduled delivery.

Can you issue CFDI for an IMMEX plant?

Yes — we issue CFDI 4.0 with the correct USO CFDI for an IMMEX plant (typically G03 gastos en general), with Carta Porte 3.0 complement when there is inter-plant transport, and consolidated invoicing per program or per individual PO as the client prefers.

Let's plan your next uniform rollout

If you operate a plant, warehouse, CEDIS, mine, refinery, substation, platform or construction site in Mexico and want to quote a multi-site uniform rollout with NOM and IMMEX compliance — let's talk. We need site count, headcount per site, categories (operator, supervisor, technician, industrial-office), delivery dates and per-plant address to send a proposal within 24–48 working hours.
