Mexican law-firm merch has to read as the practice
Mexican law firms operate against a calendar the European and US firms do not share. The engagement-cycle close happens typically at the end of the deal (M&A close, financing close, regulatory clearance) — the merch has to land at the deal team's office or the client's office before the closing dinner. The partner-cycle gifting happens typically in December (the year-end partner-recognition cycle) and in May (the partner-promotion cycle). The recruiting cycle for the new associate class happens typically in July (the bar-admission cycle) and September (the new-grad hire cycle).
The merch has to read as the practice. The buyer reads the procurement spec sheet the same way they read the firm's case-law and regulatory-clearance work — the merch has to be impeccable, the materials have to be of the highest quality, the typography has to be perfect, the leather has to be of the highest grade.
Programs we run for law firms
Engagement-cycle and deal-close kits
For the engagement-cycle close (M&A close, financing close, regulatory clearance) — branded apparel, premium presentation kits, gift-quality items for the deal team and the client. Premium tier uses Italian vegetable-tanned leather from the Toscana partner; standard tier uses Mexican full-grain leather sourced in León, Guanajuato. Both tiers can be paired with a Montblanc-equivalent pen. Per-engagement runs of 10–100 pieces.
Partner-cycle gifting
For the partner-cycle gifting program — December year-end partner-recognition cycle and May partner-promotion cycle. Premium tier uses Italian vegetable-tanned leather from the Toscana partner; standard tier uses Mexican full-grain leather sourced in León, Guanajuato. Both tiers can be paired with a curated Mexican product (Oaxaca mezcal, Yucatán honey, Jalisco coffee).
Conference and CLE-cycle kits
For the IBA (International Bar Association) annual conference, the Mexican Bar Association conference cycle, the American Bar Association Latin-America conference cycle — branded apparel, premium presentation kits, gift-quality items for the partner table. USD billing standard. Shipped to the conference venue four weeks before the conference opens.
Recruiting-cycle kits
For the law firm's new associate class — typically July bar-admission and September new-grad hire — new-hire welcome kit with branded apparel, art-direction notebook, encrypted USB, custom drinkware. Annual runs of 25–200 pieces for the larger firms.
The firm's brand-manual fidelity is the brief
For law firms, the firm's brand-manual fidelity is the brief. The brand team sends us the moodboard, the Pantone palette, the typography, the materials reference, the logo art direction, and the voice tone. The merch proposal we hand the firm respects every element of the brand direction without flattening it.
For unique constructions (debossed leather portfolio with the firm's seal, custom-engraved pen with the partner's name, custom silk-lined presentation box) we sample in our CDMX workshop before committing to the production run. The Pantone-match approval sample travels with the production run, so the firm's brand team can verify the colour match before the production run ships.
