The meeting-room piece every Polanco and Santa Fe HQ keeps in the conference-room drawer. CFDI 4.0 in MXN, USD wire for US HQ purchases, IVA 16% desglosado.
Why the notebook is the conference-room workhorse
The notebook lives in the meeting room, on the executive desk, in the trade-show tote, in the hotel nightstand. It carries the recipient's handwritten notes for two to four years before it fills up. Compared to the t-shirt that ends up at the gym or the mug that lives on the desk, the notebook is the highest-perceived-value piece of merchandise that gets used in front of other people — exactly the audience a brand wants.
We supply the catalogue brands that Mexican purchasing teams recognise — Moleskine, Leuchtturm1917, Rhodia, Paperblanks, Castelli, and the equivalent Chinese-import PU lines at lower cost — and the Mexican-bound books out of Mexico City and Guadalajara for the Hecho en México tier. The PU leather A5 with cream 80gsm paper is the corporate workhorse. The recycled bonded leather is the ESG-aligned procurement policy. The fabric-wrapped cover is the lifestyle and boutique tier. The hardbound kraft cover is the artisan segment.

Pricing, MOQ, lead time and where we make them
MXN pricing before IVA 16%. Standard MOQ is 50 units for decorated imports, 100 units for Mexican-bound books. Volume breaks at 100 / 250 / 500 / 1,000 / 2,500 units, with up to 32% off from 1,000 units. Standard lead time 10–15 working days; rush 5–7 days carries a +30% surcharge. Mexican hand-bound is 4–5 weeks regardless of rush.
Decoration hubs: debossing and foil stamping in Iztapalapa and Tlalnepantla for the CDMX corporate runs. Mexican hand-bound in Mexico City and Guadalajara for the Hecho en México artisan segment. Cross-border drops to Laredo file the USMCA supplier declaration; the same notebook that walks out of a Silao plant for a US dealer event does not require re-invoicing in the US when the preference criterion is met.
For US parent groups buying through their Mexican subsidiary, we invoice in MXN via SPEI; for US headquarters buying directly, we invoice in USD via wire with the IVA 16% line shown for acreditamiento where applicable.
Where Mexican notebooks actually end up
Notebook volume splits across five programs. December aguinaldo gift boxes from Polanco and Santa Fe HQs run 200–2,000 units per client, usually A5 PU leather with foil-stamped logo. Trade-show giveaways at Centro Citibanamex, WTC CDMX, Expo Guadalajara, Cintermex run 300–1,500 units per show, usually A5 or A6 with debossed logo. Engineering onboarding kits at IBM, Oracle, TCS, Globant and Wizeline run 100–500 units per quarter. Hotel welcome kits at the Four Seasons, St. Regis, Ritz-Carlton and Live Aqua run 50–300 units per property. Project-management and consulting kits at the McKinsey, BCG, Bain, EY, Deloitte and KPMG Mexico offices run 50–200 units per project kickoff.
The cover and decoration vary by program: PU leather A5 with debossing for the trade-show and corporate wellness kit, foil-stamped for the aguinaldo gift tier, recycled bonded leather for ESG-aligned procurement policy, fabric-wrapped for the lifestyle and boutique segment.
