Custom Glass Tumblers for Premium Gifting and Spirits Gift Sets

A glass tumbler is the right vessel when your brand message has to survive liquid contact and the dishwasher. We run borosilicate high-thermal-resistance glass — the same grade used in laboratory glassware and specialty coffee — in 8, 12 and 16 oz formats, double-wall with air chamber, and traditional soda-lime glass in classic models. Decoration runs from single-colour screen print to laser engraving with frost effect, full-wrap sublimation and masked sandblasting. These are pieces that live in the customer's kitchen for years.

When to choose glass over ceramic or steel

The decision between ceramic, stainless steel or glass depends on use and brand positioning. Ceramic is the everyday option — cheaper, easier to decorate, handles microwave and industrial dishwasher. Stainless steel enters for rough field use, double-wall vacuum, thermal retention. Glass enters when the client wants to transmit transparency — literal and metaphorical — and associate the brand with purity, premium quality or specialty coffee. Specialty coffee shops — Cielito Querido Café, Cardinal Casa de Café, Toma Café, Café Avellaneda — are repeat glass clients, alongside spirits houses: Casa Cuervo, José Cuervo, Patrón, Casa Dragones, Gran Centenario.

For corporate gift runs, glass enters when the presentation of the gift matters as much as the beverage. A premium tequila bottle served in a box with two laser-engraved tumblers is a year-end closure gift that gets remembered — which is precisely what you want for VIP clients, board members and key strategic allies. Borosilicate glass resists thermal shock from -20°C to 150°C without fracture, which means you can serve from espresso to cold brew without pre-warming. The double-wall hand-blown version keeps hot drinks warm for an extra 30 minutes and cold drinks cold for 90, without external condensation that ruins the table.

Glass decoration techniques

Laser engraving is our dominant technique for premium glass. A 40W CO2 laser traces the logo onto the glass surface, creating a permanent frost effect — it is not an added layer, it is a micro-fracture of the glass that changes its refractive index. This means the engraving does not wash off with use, does not peel off, does not fade in the dishwasher. The art setup is one-off and amortizes through the whole series. We run flat vector engraving and 3D relief where the depth of the stroke is controlled by passes.

Ceramic screen print with kiln-fired enamel enters for runs with full-colour logos — up to six inks — and reproducing gradients and photographs that laser engraving will not accept. Screen print is fired at 580°C to vitrify the enamel onto the glass, creating a durable finish that survives industrial dishwasher. Full-wrap sublimation works on a polyester coating that is pre-applied to the tumbler — useful for designs that cover the entire surface, such as sports team bars, tourism motifs (Cancún, Los Cabos, Oaxaca) and craft beer tap handles. For export runs, all three techniques comply with FDA and LFGB for food contact.

Corporate sets and presentation

The most requested corporate format is the set of two glass tumblers with gift box — typical for year-end closure, company anniversaries, board gifts. The box can be screen-printed kraft with hot-stamped logo, rigid card stock covered in 300 gsm couche paper with magnetic closure, or wood with hinged lid for truly premium runs. Each tumbler is wrapped in tissue, with a personalised card, and on request an insert that describes the program or carries a message from the CEO.

For spirits industry clients, the full set includes the client's distilled bottle — Casa Cuervo, Patrón, Casa Dragones, 1800 Tequila, Gran Centenario, Herradura — with two engraved glass tumblers and a serving tray or board in wood or black acrylic. Operating with the client's bottle requires temporary inventory coordination at our warehouse and NOM-006-SCFI-2014 compliance for alcoholic beverages; we invoice only the tumbler and box component, the bottle is delivered with its own invoice and chain of custody. For export, boxes adjust to LTL air or sea pallet dimensions by destination.

Logistics and delivery

Glass is a logistics category that requires specialised packaging. Each tumbler is packed in low-density polyethylene foam with double corrugate, and sets go in rigid boxes with individual dividers. For runs over 200 pieces, we run returnable packaging racks that reduce cardboard cost and speed up the fulfilment operation. Deliveries in CDMX and metropolitan area run on dedicated routes with air-suspension vehicles; to the interior of the Republic via Estafeta, FedEx, DHL or Paquetexpress with insured guide by declared value of the merchandise.

IVA 16 percent is itemised on the CFDI 4.0 invoice before the SAT with their their customer; for clients with 100 percent acreditamiento del IVA, we deliver the full documentation package including Carta Porte 3.0 supplement for ground transport and, on cross-border deliveries to the United States, the Complemento de Comercio Exterior 2.0 with pedimento number and USMCA declaration when applicable. For clients that invoice in USD or EUR, we run the Banxico exchange rate of the invoice date, with the option of fixing the exchange rate at purchase order moment to avoid volatility.
