Custom Fashion Apparel — Streetwear, Premium and Athleisure for Brand Programs
Fashion apparel sits at the crossroads of merch and ready-to-wear. Not the institutional tee handed to operations staff, not the plant uniform with reflective tape — it is the oversized hoodie the CEO wears on Fridays at the Polanco office, the technical jersey the sales team wears on their day off, the bomber jacket the client receives as an end-of-year gift and then wears on the flight to Tokyo. We run three lines: streetwear with relaxed fit and contemporary brand aesthetics, premium with technical fabrics and tailored finishes, athleisure with performance fabrics and athletic styling. All produced in Mexican workshops in Tlalnepantla, Naucalpan, Cuautitlán Izcalli and San Luis Potosí.
Three lines, three audiences
The Streetwear line plays with oversized cuts, relaxed fit and contemporary brand aesthetic. Hoodies in french terry 380–450 g/m² with natural drape, dropped shoulders, raglan sleeves, hood with thick drawcord, kangaroo pocket. Tees in tri-blend (50% polyester / 25% ringspun cotton / 25% rayon) with soft hand, elongated drape, garment-dyed options in washed colours. Jogger pants in french terry 320 g/m² with elastic waistband, rib cuff and drawcord. Cargo pants with side pockets and knee detail. Bermuda shorts in heavy cotton with raw hem. The colour palette comes from the workshop's reactive dye chart — sage green, dusty rose, sand, off-white, deep navy, charcoal, burnt orange.
The Premium line works with technical fabrics and tailored finishes: cashmere blend hoodie 350 g/m² with anti-pilling treatment, Oxford shirt in Egyptian cotton 120 thread count with button-down collar and chest embroidery, unstructured blazer in virgin wool 280 g/m² with silk lining, polo in pima cotton 220 g/m² with rib collar and pearl buttons, dress pants in cool wool 240 g/m² with reinforced inner waistband. The Athleisure line works with performance fabrics: technical jersey in recycled polyester with spandex 4-way stretch, training short with inner compression, quick-dry tee in polyester 130 g/m² with anti-odour treatment, hoodie with waterproof membrane 5,000 mm for outdoor activities, legging and sports top in nylon-spandex.
For programs that cross the three lines, we run a brand lookbook with mood board, colour palette, typography, applications (woven labels, cardboard hangtags, rubber patches, hot-stamping on inner labels), and individual boutique packaging with non-woven cloth bag or cardboard box with hot-stamping of the logo. CFDI 4.0 invoicing includes IVA 16% breakdown and, for export operations under the IMMEX program, the corresponding foreign trade complement. For deliveries to department stores (Liverpool, El Palacio de Hierro) or DTC platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce) we handle retail packaging with EAN-13 barcode and SAT code.
Decoration methods that work best on fashion apparel
Special thread embroidery
For premium pieces and polos. Silk thread, metallic gold/silver thread, lurex thread. Standard placements at left chest 8×5 cm, sleeve, upper back, neckline. 200-colour chart. Cut-away and adhesive backings.
DTF printing and screen print
For tees and hoodies. DTF full colour for 50–500 unit runs with gradients and fine detail. Plastisol or water-based screen print for 100+ unit runs with one to three spot colours. Discharge printing for dyed grounds.
Woven and leather labels
Woven label with brand logo at side neck or pocket. Genuine or synthetic leather label with hot-stamping of logo. Recycled polyester care label with bilingual information.
Garment dye and acid wash
For capsule series and limited collections. Post-construction dyeing in washed colours. Acid wash for vintage finishes. Extra charge for dyeing and additional 5–7 days process time.
Typical fashion apparel programs
For product launches and reveal campaigns the most-requested combination is streetwear hoodie + tri-blend tee + canvas tote + sticker pack. The piece works as merch and as a walking billboard when recipients wear it in the street or on social. for ambassador and content creator programs (influencers, TikTok creators, micro-influencers with 10–100k followers) we deliver a 4–6 piece kit from the premium line with gift box, personalised card and packaging for direct shipment to the creator's address — useful for UGC campaigns requiring constant rotation.
For corporate culture events and anniversaries (10, 15, 25, 50 years) the bomber jacket with chest and upper-back embroidery of the anniversary year is a classic. For internal brand ambassador programs (the employees who most represent the company culture) we deliver a premium hoodie with individual name embroidery and ambassador number. For VIP end-of-year gifts to top clients, the wool or cashmere blend jacket with rigid wooden box and personalised card with the client's name is the year-ender that closes relationships. For fashion trade shows and pop-ups (Boutique Mexico, Fashion Week CDMX) the streetwear line works as event merch with higher unit prices and short runs.
Size curve, fit and validation
For fashion apparel we run the full size curve: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL with options for unisex, women's (with marked waist and shorter sleeves) and oversized cuts (with elongated drape and dropped shoulder). For programs with orders above 500 units we recommend physical sampling with 5 units per size to validate fit before the full run — the sampling charge is refunded against the final order. For premium and athleisure lines sampling is mandatory because construction tolerances are tighter and customer expectations higher.
The typical approval process: brief with mood board and visual reference → quote with line breakdown → physical sampling in 7–10 business days with refundable charge → sample approval, size curve adjustment and colour selection → production run with in-line quality control and final inspection before packaging → consolidated delivery in 15–25 business days depending on volume. Invoicing is per product line with IVA 16% breakdown and, for programs with staggered delivery (quarterly drops), we issue one CFDI 4.0 per delivery with the corresponding payment complement (complemento de pagos) on settlement.
Capacity, materials and certifications
We work with workshops that have combined capacity of 8,000 units per week across the three lines, each specialised: Naucalpan workshops for streetwear, Polanco workshop for premium, Cuautitlán Izcalli workshop for athleisure. Materials include ringspun combed, pima cotton, tri-blend polyester/cotton/rayon, cashmere blend, cool wool, virgin wool, GRS recycled polyester, nylon-spandex, TPU waterproof membrane. Available certifications are OEKO-TEX Standard 100, GOTS, GRS, NOM-004 for composition labelling and, for export programs, USMCA preference statement when the destination crosses the northern border.
For companies operating under the IMMEX program, we coordinate with your foreign trade department so that garments temporarily imported under the program are processed within the workshop and delivered with full customs documentation. For employee engagement programs with an ESG component, the premium and streetwear lines can be combined with the eco-conscious collection (GOTS organic cotton, GRS recycled polyester) keeping fit and aesthetic but changing material composition. The CFDI 4.0 invoice includes material details and certifications, and the sustainability report attaches when the client requires it.
