Eco-Conscious Collection — Certified Corporate Merch for ESG Programs
When a corporate has a public ESG commitment — whether driven by investor pressure, contractual clauses with international clients or genuine board conviction — the merch it ships must not contradict the narrative. The eco-conscious collection covers tees in GOTS organic cotton, hoodies in GRS recycled polyester, bottles in post-consumer recycled aluminium, notebooks in FSC certified paper, tote bags in organic canvas, bamboo straws and cutlery, recycled cardboard packaging and phthalate-free water-based inks. Each unit ships with chain-of-custody paperwork that attaches directly to your GRI, SASB or annual report.
The certifications behind the collection
The GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification guarantees that organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides, without chemical fertilisers and processed without toxic heavy metals. Applies to tees, hoodies, polos, caps and tote bags. The GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification validates the recycled content of polyester, cotton and aluminium with traceability from material collection to finished product. Applies to bottles, backpacks, hoodies and blended recycled tees. The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification guarantees that paper products (notebooks, packaging, cards) and bamboo products come from responsibly managed forests.
We also work with the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification that verifies textiles are free from harmful substances at concentrations that could be detrimental to health. The NOM-141-SEMARNAT-2003 standard regulates the procedure for characterising hazardous waste in Mexico — we comply when our packaging and materials are recyclable or compostable. For inks we exclusively use water-based inks without toxic solvents, without phthalates and without heavy metals, certified by the AP (American Printing Industries Alliance) and by the European EuPIA association.

When the eco-conscious line is the right choice
The eco-conscious line carries a 15–35% premium over the standard line, so it pays to specify it for the right programs and audiences. It is the correct choice when the unit ships at public events with media coverage (product launches, international trade shows, sports sponsorships), when the recipient is an international client with ESG clauses in their contract (European, Canadian and Northern California clients), when the merch enters an employee engagement program with an internal sustainability narrative, or when the unit attaches to a GRI or SASB sustainability report as a tangible example.
For companies certified under the ESR (Empresa Socialmente Responsable) program of Cemefi, or that report to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, FTSE4Good or S&P Sustainability Yearbook, the eco-conscious collection is a direct enabler of environmental indicators. For corporates that produce non-financial statements under the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) recommendations, the chain-of-custody traceability of recycled materials feeds directly into Scope 3 emissions reporting. The CFDI 4.0 invoice includes certification descriptions and, when you require it, a separate certificate signed by the certifying body.
How compliance is documented
Every eco-conscious order exits with a lot traceability certificate indicating: material, recycled or organic content percentage, certifying body (GOTS, GRS, FSC, OEKO-TEX), supplier licence number, production date and raw material country of origin. This certificate attaches to the CFDI 4.0 invoice as supporting documentation and is delivered to the client in signed PDF. For clients requiring stricter due diligence, we issue letters of representation signed by our CEO declaring compliance under oath, and we make the workshop's internal audits available to the client's sustainability team for review.
For programs with a carbon-neutral commitment, we calculate the carbon footprint of each lot and, optionally, offset it with certified project bonds (VCS, Gold Standard, CAR) in Mexican forests, reforestation projects in the Sierra Norte de Puebla, Oaxaca or Chiapas, or renewable energy projects in Oaxaca and Baja California. The offset certificate is issued under the same CFDI 4.0 invoice number for clean traceability. We also support reporting under the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) when the client requires alignment with validated emissions reduction targets.
Typical use cases
For public events and launches (Expo ANTAD, Tianguis Turístico, Guadalajara Film Festival, Fashion Week Mexico) the eco-conscious collection reinforces the responsible brand narrative. For employee engagement programs with a sustainability theme, the organic merch is delivered with a usage and care manual explaining the certification and the impact. For end-of-year client gifts the FSC paper notebook with personalised cover and the recycled cardboard pen are mid-cost but high-perceived-value items. For field operations (CFE, Pemex, Semarnat crews) the recycled aluminium bottle and the steel infuser thermos comply with NOM-141 and international certification standards.
For international trade shows with a Mexico pavilion (CES Las Vegas, IFA Berlin, Mobile World Congress Barcelona) the eco-conscious collection meets the sustainability requirements of organisers and European buyers. For hotel chains with LEED certification (Four Seasons, Rosewood, Grupo Posadas) the eco-conscious merch feeds hotel indicators. For B2B corporates with European parent companies the document trail simplifies the end client's external audit. In all cases the CFDI 4.0 invoice includes the IVA 16% breakdown and, for IMMEX operations with a foreign trade complement, the complete customs documentation.
FAQ — eco-conscious collection
What is the premium over the standard line?
15–35% over standard line, depending on material and certification. GOTS organic cotton is 15–25% more expensive than conventional ringspun. GRS recycled polyester is 20–30% more expensive. GRS recycled aluminium is 25–35% more expensive.
Do certifications come with documentation?
Yes — every eco-conscious order exits with a lot traceability certificate, issued by the corresponding certifying body (GOTS, GRS, FSC, OEKO-TEX). The document attaches to the CFDI 4.0 invoice.
Can you calculate the carbon footprint?
Yes — we calculate the lot carbon footprint under ISO 14067 methodology and, optionally, offset it with certified VCS, Gold Standard or CAR bonds. The offset certificate is issued under the CFDI 4.0 invoice number.
Are water-based inks as durable?
Modern water-based inks have durability equivalent to plastisol inks under normal use conditions. For industrial applications (industrial wash, high abrasion) we recommend phthalate-free plastisol inks as an alternative.
Do you comply with NOM-141?
Yes — we handle recyclable, compostable and reusable packaging that complies with the hazardous waste characterisation procedure established in NOM-141-SEMARNAT-2003.
Can you support GRI or SASB reporting?
Yes — we issue a per-lot report of materials, certifications and carbon footprint in a format compatible with GRI Standards, SASB and TCFD. Documentation ready to attach to the annual report.
