The Bajío needs polos for three uses

The Bajío industry needs polos for three uses that almost never overlap in the same order, but that a large-plant supplier ends up handling simultaneously. The first use is the shop-floor uniform: dry-fit technical polo with UV protection UPF 50+ for staff working on the floor, warehouse, logistics, maintenance, quality, production, engineering, and supervision. Color is assigned by department or area, with logo embroidery on the left chest at 6,000 stitches and badge number on the upper back. The second use is the white-collar uniform: combed-cotton piqué polo in 100% cotton or 65/35 cotton-poly blend for office, sales, HR, finance, purchasing, planning, commercial, and management staff. The polo allows a more formal presence without sacrificing comfort, with left-chest logo embroidery and, optionally, employee name on the right sleeve. The third use is event and loyalty merch: polos for Start of Production, plant anniversary, IATF 16949 audit, trade shows (INA PAACE Automechanika México, Industrial Transformation México in León, EXPOMAQ, ANTAD, Salón del Automóvil), internal-communications events, year-end, and Operator of the Month.

Corp-Merch.com.mx has produced and delivered polos for the Bajío since 2018. We started shipping 200 embroidered polos with the logo of a wiring-harness supplier at the Querétaro Industrial Park (PIQ); today we deliver 100 to 8,000 pieces with embroidery, screen printing, or DTF, in combed cotton, GRS recycled polyester, GOTS organic cotton, cotton-poly blends, and cotton-modal blends, with size curves per plant (S, M, L, XL, XXL), colors per department, and consolidated delivery to assembly plant or Tier 1–3 supplier with prior appointment at the inbound warehouse. When the client operates under IMMEX, we manage invoicing with 16% VAT in CFDI tipo ingreso and, when the material crosses the border as a temporary export, Carta Porte 3.0. When the plant has international headquarters (BMW San Luis Potosí, Audi México, VW, GM, Toyota, Continental, Bosch, ZF, Magna), we run bilingual workflow and prototype signed by the global brand team when applicable.

Embroidery, screen printing, DTF — which to use

For Bajío polos, three techniques dominate the market. Computerized embroidery is the premium and most durable technique: 40s polyester threads (Madeira Polyneon, Coats & Clark) that withstand industrial washing at 60°C, bleach, and sunlight without color loss. Cost: $35 to $85 MXN per placement depending on stitch count. Ideal for corporate logo, employee names, badge number, short phrases, and premium welcome-kit and year-end-gift runs. Screen printing is the highest-yield and lowest-cost technique for large runs: one screen per color, plastic or water-based ink application on the polo, oven cure. Cost: $15 to $45 MXN per placement depending on color count. Ideal for long phrases, large graphics, illustrations, and runs of more than 500 pieces. DTF (Direct to Film) is the most versatile technique for medium runs: print the design on PET film with pigmented inks, transfer with heat-activated adhesive to the polo with heat press. Cost: $25 to $60 MXN per placement depending on size. Ideal for designs with many colors, gradients, photographs, complex graphics, and runs of 100 to 1,000 pieces.

For the Bajío automotive industry, the choice between embroidery, screen printing, or DTF depends on the client's brief. For corporate uniforms with simple logo and employee name, always embroidery. For event polos with phrase or illustration, screen printing or DTF depending on volume. For trade-show polos (INA PAACE Automechanika México, Industrial Transformation México in León, EXPOMAQ) with complex design and medium volume, DTF. For GOTS organic-cotton polos, embroidery to preserve certification, with certified organic-cotton thread when the client requests it. When the client requires exact color replication of the global brand manual, we offer custom thread dyeing with MOQ of 5,000 meters for embroidery, and Pantone ink selection for screen printing and DTF.
