Enterprise account launch — merch for strategic accounts
Merch program to accompany a strategic enterprise account launch: kits for the implementation team, welcome kits for end users, pieces for internal champions, gifts for the executive who signed the contract. 30-60 day operation with delivery coordinated with kick-off and go-live.
When to use this playbook
A strategic enterprise account is a customer whose contract has material impact on annual ARR, opens reference for the market, requires C-level involvement and typically takes months of negotiation. When the contract is signed and implementation kicks off, merch serves kick-off, retention and reference purposes: the kick-off receives pieces that mark the formality of the moment; end users receive welcome kits that accelerate adoption; internal champions receive pieces that help them evangelise inside their organisation; the executive who signed receives a gift that acknowledges their bet.
This playbook applies to B2B SaaS companies, data platforms, consulting services, technology integrators, B2B fintechs that close contracts with Mexican corporates and multinationals with operations in Mexico. It also applies to companies that close contracts with the federal government (CNBV, SAT, IMSS, Banobras, Nacional Financiera), with productive state companies (Pemex, CFE, Comisión Federal de Electricidad), with banks (Banorte, BBVA, Santander, Citibanamex, Scotiabank, HSBC, Inbursa, Banco Azteca, Banregio, Banca Mifel, Actinver, Kuspit, GBM) and with large corporates (FEMSA, Grupo Bimbo, Grupo Modelo, Cemex, Grupo Alfa, Grupo Carso, Grupo Elektra, Liverpool, Palacio de Hierro, Grupo Lala, Bachoco, Arca Continental, Coca-Cola FEMSA, Grupo Televisa).
The playbook assumes the enterprise account typically has a 5-20 person implementation team from the vendor side, a 5-50 person adoption team from the client side, an internal champion who advocated for the solution, an economic buyer who approved the contract, a decision maker who signed, and between 100 and 10,000 end users.
Enterprise launch audiences
A typical enterprise launch has six audiences with differentiated kits. Vendor implementation team: shirts, tote, notebook, thermos, sticker pack with project branding for cohesion during months of work. Client internal champion: premium kit that recognises their role and gives them tools to evangelise inside their organisation. Buyer and decision maker: premium gift that acknowledges the strategic bet and builds long-term relationship. End users: welcome kit arriving at kick-off or in the first 30 days with usage guide, access data, adoption swag. Support and CX teams: operational kit with project branding. Vendor executives: visit kit for the account to maintain C-level visibility.

Roles and responsibilities
The client brings: the account executive that leads the account, the CSM that coordinates implementation and adoption, the vendor implementation team that receives operational kits, the marketing team that approves project branding, the sales team that identifies champions and decision makers, and legal that validates compliance. Corp-Merch brings: a dedicated account executive, a project manager that coordinates project milestones, production synchronised with project calendar, tiered packaging by audience, integrated parcel carriers with delivery confirmation, CFDI 4.0 invoicing and adoption-KPI reporting attributable to merch.
