Corporate dress code event: textile curation for the board meeting, the gala and the dinner with authorities

A corporate dress code event —board of directors meeting, embassy dinner, anniversary gala, contract signing with a strategic supplier, brand premiere— leaves no margin for wardrobe mistakes. The CEO photograph lands on the annual report, in the Expansión print edition, on the corporate lobby screen, in the investor presentation. A guest who arrived in business casual when the invitation said white tie ends up in the "what not to do" section of the next manual. The professional operation of corporate dress code starts three months out: brief with the Communications team, textile curation, virtual fitting with a 3D mannequin, physical fitting room logistics at the corporate office, tailoring alterations, professional pressing, venue delivery, on-site handling protocol. We work with corporates in Polanco, Lomas de Chapultepec, Santa Fe, Paseo de la Reforma, Mexico City metro area, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro, Puebla and Mérida. MOQ from 25 pieces for executive runs. Invoicing through CFDI 4.0 to SAT, 16% VAT, payment complement when applicable.

Virtual fitting and 3D mannequin: approval before production

The corporate virtual fitting lets each executive sign off on fit, drape and texture before any cutting begins. We build a 3D mannequin per executive from three reference photos (front, profile, back) and export the render in 4K with the fabric, the brand manual colour, and the expected fit. The approver sees the mannequin on their phone, marks comments by zone (collar, shoulder, sleeve, length), and the tailor adjusts before cutting. The minimum executive run is 25 pieces (committee) and the standard is 50 to 200 pieces (expanded board plus guests).

The physical fitting room at the corporate office is set up two weeks before the event: a 3 x 4 metre fitting room with a full-length mirror, overhead lighting, a rack with the curation pieces, an on-call tailor for minor alterations. Each executive books a 30-minute slot, tries the pieces, flags any changes, and walks out with the complete kit five days before the event. For executives with packed calendars, we bring the fitting room to their office in Polanco, Lomas, Santa Fe or Interlomas.

Venue delivery logistics and on-site protocol

Venue delivery is coordinated with the maître d' and the event lead at the Four Seasons, St. Regis, Presidente InterContinental, JW Marriott, Hotel de la Paz in San Miguel de Allende, Hotel Matilda in Guadalajara, Hotel Mesón de Jobito in Mérida or whichever private venue was contracted. Each piece travels in a cotton garment bag with the guest's name embroidered on the inner label, professional pressing on-site when the venue allows it, mobile rack for hanging in the green room, and a contingency plan for last-minute issues (replacement by twin piece with 3D mannequin pre-approved).

On-site protocol includes an on-call tailor during the two hours before the event, a backup piece of each model for every five guests (for zipper breaks, stains, dropped buttons, last-minute emergencies), and a portable pressing kit with 110V steamer. The on-site service invoice is issued through CFDI 4.0 to SAT with 16% VAT breakdown, and when the corporate pays in USD, we invoice in MXN at the Banco de México exchange rate of the day, with payment complement for SPEI or SWIFT transfers.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the full executive textile curation take?

The 3D mannequin is delivered in 5 business days. The full textile curation with tailoring is ready in 21 business days. For events on tighter timelines under 21 days, we run express production with a +45% surcharge and express prêt-à-porter curation with alterations.
