MX Q1 2026 corp event: operations kickoff under Carta Porte 3.0, IMMEX 2026 recertification, and the USMCA cross-border logistics window

The Q1 operations window for IMMEX and logistics corporates in Mexico runs on three parallel rails: the finalized SAT Carta Porte 3.0 complement that applies to every merchandise-transit CFDI, the annual IMMEX program recertification with the Secretaría de Economía, and the cross-border logistics window with U.S. suppliers under USMCA rules of origin. The IMMEX corporate with plants in Juárez, Tijuana, Monterrey, Saltillo, San Luis Potosí, and Querétaro reopens between January 2 and 15; the corporate with CEDIS in CDMX, Guadalajara, and Monterrey reopens between January 8 and 20. Operations kit production must run November through the second week of January. We work with IMMEX corporates, Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive plants, maquiladoras, logistics operators, and consumer corporates with operations kickoff programs. Invoicing issues under CFDI 4.0 to the SAT with 16% IVA and the Carta Porte 3.0 complement when applicable, and deductibility supported as Logistics, Training, or Foreign Trade expense.

Q1 2026 operations calendar

The Q1 program is built between October and December of the prior year. The last week of November closes the operations brief with the per-front quantity, shipping addresses, and gift selection. The first week of December releases the production order with national and international vendors. The last week of December handles inventory at the bonded warehouse in Juárez or Tijuana for IMMEX corporates with northern border plants, and at the CDMX, Guadalajara, or Monterrey warehouse for Bajío operations.

The first week of January reopens production with phased resumption. For IMMEX corporates reopening in the first week of January, we hold safety stock at the bonded warehouse so the line is not waiting on operations gifts. For CEDIS in CDMX, Guadalajara, and Monterrey, we deliver direct to the CEDIS on a window coordinated with security. Invoicing issues under CFDI 4.0 to the SAT with 16% IVA breakdown, the Carta Porte 3.0 complement when freight crosses customs or changes state, and deductibility supported per kit line. For cross-border operations, we retain supporting documentation for five years for any SAT or IRS review.

Operations gift curation by line

Q1 operations gift curation runs three spending lines. For the logistics operator kit, gifts run $1,200 to $3,500 MXN: Stanley thermos, Stanley Tools kit, healthy snack, Sony or Bose entry-level headphones, Eastpak backpack, hand-bound notebook. For the IMMEX plant kit, gifts run $1,200 to $3,500 MXN: Eastpak or Totto backpack, Stanley thermos, Klein Tools kit, encrypted USB, plant badge with photo and QR.

For the USMCA cross-border supplier kit, gifts run $4,500 to $18,000 MXN: Tissot PRX watch, Cross Townsend pen, handcrafted Tonalá piece, Baja wine with personalized case, Tumi luggage. For the plant committee kit, gifts run $2,500 to $8,500 MXN: Casio or Citizen watch, specialty coffee kit, Stanley thermos, Eastpak backpack, Parker or Cross pen. Curation is built jointly with Procurement, HR, and the Logistics lead, and gifts ship without visible pricing. For Bajío operations, we use regional gifts.

Tax compliance, privacy, and delivery

Invoicing issues under CFDI 4.0 to the SAT with 16% IVA breakdown and deductibility per kit line. For logistics operator kits, the gift deducts as Logistics and is documented with purchase order and CEDIS lead signature. For IMMEX kits, the gift deducts as Training and is documented with purchase order, HR lead signature, and Industrial Safety lead signature. For USMCA supplier kits, the gift deducts as Foreign Trade expense with foreign trade complement when crossing customs. For plant committee kits, the gift deducts as Training expense.

Personal data handling complies with the LFPDPPP: the names of plant personnel are used only for personalization of the badge and are purged 90 days after delivery. The home address of the logistics operator for gift shipping is treated as sensitive personal data and is requested through the privacy notice published on the corporate site. Invoicing issues under CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA, the Carta Porte 3.0 complement when applicable, and IMMEX deductibility support with the SAT.

Frequently asked questions

Can you handle different shipping addresses for several plants?

Yes — for corporates with plants in several cities (for example Monterrey plus Juárez plus Tijuana, or CDMX plus Guadalajara plus Querétaro), we ship separately with a purchase order per destination and a responsible party signature per site. Invoicing issues in a single CFDI 4.0 with separate lines per address and the Carta Porte 3.0 complement when freight crosses customs or changes state.

Do you bill in USD for U.S. suppliers?

Yes — we bill in USD for deliveries to El Paso, San Diego, Laredo, or McAllen at the Banxico FIX rate of the day. The gift is quoted in USD and the invoice ships in dollars when the recipient requests it; we support U.S.-side deductibility when the corporate has a U.S. accountant.

Can you deliver to the corporate CEDIS in the first week of January?

Yes — we deliver direct to the CEDIS with purchase order, logistics lead signature, and a window coordinated with security. We run production from 50 pieces with delivery to the CEDIS in CDMX, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Tijuana, and Querétaro. Invoicing issues under CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA and the Carta Porte 3.0 complement when applicable.
