Mexico corporate events H1 2026: the half that sets the fiscal rhythm of the national corporate

The first half of Mexico's fiscal year (January to June 2026) is when the national corporate runs the events with the highest impact on its commercial force, financial reporting, talent retention and relationship with authorities. It opens with the national sales convention in the second half of January, runs through the annual shareholders meeting (between March and April for BMV-listed companies), the quarterly results presentation before CNBV, International Women's Day (March 8), the formal start of the IMMEX program before the Secretaría de Economía and the VAT creditable filing to SAT, and closes with Mother's Day (May 10) and the half-year board meeting. At Corp-Merch.MX we produce the H1 event chain with CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA and deductibility as Industrial Relations, Training or Advertising expense.

Five critical H1 2026 events on the national calendar

National sales convention — second half of January

Full production of the annual kick-off that brings the corporate commercial force together at a beach destination (Cancún, Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa, Huatulco) or at a corporate home city (CDMX, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro). We run welcome kits with a technical backpack, bound notebook, metal roller pen, thermal logo bottle, year-end recognition gift for top salesperson (engraved Citizen watch, executive Tumi luggage, Amazon México gift card between five thousand and twenty-five thousand pesos), piqué polo shirts for staff and POP stage production. Curation pulls in Mexican brands (Casa Cuervo, Chocomilk, Cafetera del Sur) when the corporate wants local storytelling. Volume between one hundred and fifty and twenty-five hundred attendees, CFDI 4.0 invoicing with sixteen percent IVA.

Annual shareholders meeting and results presentation

Production of institutional material for the H1 financial events: corporate folder with magnetic closure and hot-stamping, letter-size notepad on albanene paper, engraved executive pen, encrypted USB with audited financial statements, protocol gift for the board (wooden case with Valle de Guadalupe wine or Oaxacan mezcal, custom desk clock, huichol art piece or Puebla talavera). For corporates reporting before BMV, CNBV or with ADR listed on NYSE/NASDAQ we run bilingual Spanish-English production with USMCA documentation and LEI code. Volume between thirty units (small board) and five hundred (annual assembly with institutional investors).

International Women's Day — March 8

Production of gifts and experience for March 8: present for every female employee between eight hundred and fifty and thirty-five hundred pesos with curation from Mexican brands that sponsor female talent, premium present for women leaders between five thousand and fifteen thousand pesos, gift for external guests (panelists, speakers, journalists) between two thousand and eight thousand pesos, POP for the internal event (panel, working breakfast, talk), March 8 packaging in purple, lilac and green, personalized card signed by the CEO. For corporates with plant manufacturing we run a floor present between four hundred and twelve hundred pesos with ergonomic packaging. Volume between fifty and two thousand units depending on corporate size.

Mother's Day — May 10

Production of the gift and recognition for Mother's Day: present for employees with children between twelve hundred and forty-five hundred pesos, premium present for board mothers between five thousand and twenty-five thousand pesos, present for mothers of employees' children in daycare plan (gourmet basket, spa kit), digital gift (Amazon México, Liverpool, Sanborns, Best Buy gift card), floral packaging and personalized card. For corporates with Sunday May 10 operations (healthcare, hospitality, logistics) we run an operational present between five hundred and fifteen hundred pesos plus recognition for the shift team. CFDI 4.0 invoicing to SAT, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Industrial Relations expense.

Operating rhythm of H1 2026 in the Mexican corporate

The first half of Mexico has five milestones that the national corporate must calendar in advance: January is the month of the commercial kick-off and the launch of the annual budget; February is stabilization with the first board meeting and the close of the first internal report; March is the month of International Women's Day, the provisional SAT filings and the annual shareholders meeting for public companies; April-May is the block of Mother's Day, external audits and the first-quarter results presentation before CNBV; June closes with the half-year board meeting, forecast adjustment and planning of mid-year conventions. The window from January to June concentrates roughly sixty percent of the annual gifting budget of the Mexican corporate, according to our benchmarking across industrial and financial-services clients.

At Corp-Merch.MX we coordinate the H1 production chain with a master calendar, a single coordinator assigned to the corporate and direct delivery to each city where the corporate operates. For corporates with presence in CDMX, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro, Puebla, Mérida, Tijuana, León, Veracruz and Acapulco we run synchronized delivery via domestic courier (Estafeta, FedEx, DHL) with confirmation of delivery at each site. For corporates with operations in the United States, Canada, Europe or Asia we run international shipping under USMCA, T-MEC, EU-Mexico Trade Agreement or CPTPP per the route. For corporates with an active IMMEX program before SE we run deduction when the gift ties to plant talent retention. Invoicing runs in Mexican pesos at the Banco de México rate of the day; for corporates with headquarters abroad we also invoice in USD, EUR or RUB with daily conversion and audit support.

H1 curation by event reason and by seniority

H1 curation depends on the event reason and the seniority of the recipient. For the national sales convention we run gifts between twenty-five hundred pesos (junior salesperson) and twenty-five thousand pesos (regional director) with welcome kits and top-seller recognition gifts. For the annual shareholders meeting we run executive gifts between five thousand and eighty thousand pesos with premium packaging, hot-stamping and bilingual documentation. For March 8 we run presents between eight hundred and fifty and thirty-five hundred pesos with female curation and March 8 packaging. For Mother's Day we run presents between twelve hundred and forty-five hundred pesos with floral and emotional curation. For the half-year board meeting we run presents between four thousand and thirty thousand pesos with institutional packaging.

The process starts with a session with the HR, Internal Communications, Training, Procurement, Marketing and Finance committees, where we set the H1 calendar, attendees per event, budget bands per seniority, destination of the gift (desk, home, travel, restaurant, experience) and delivery deadline. H1 production normally closes between October 30 of the prior year and December 15 to secure capacity in peak season and avoid rush surcharges. For corporates running multiple H1 events we offer a semester package with volume discount, scheduled delivery and consolidated CFDI 4.0 invoice. Invoicing complies strictly with Mexican fiscal rules (CFDI 4.0, sixteen percent IVA, ISR withholding when applicable) and deductibility applies per the destination of the gift: Industrial Relations expense when tied to retention, Training expense when tied to learning, Advertising expense when it carries visible corporate branding.
