H4 2026 operating calendar

The H4 window opens October 1 with Buen Fin preparation, runs through Día de Muertos on November 1 and 2, peaks at Buen Fin on November 13 through 16, 2026, continues with digital Black Friday (last Friday of November), Cyber Monday (the following Monday), the posadas season opening (December 1), legal aguinaldo (by December 20 per Article 87 of the LFT), the year-end christmas party and closes with New Year. It is the window with the highest flagship traffic, the highest advertising spend and the highest operational urgency.

At Corp-Merch.MX we coordinate the H4 production chain with a master calendar that starts in September. Buen Fin production closes by October 30. Día de Muertos production closes by October 15. Posada and aguinaldo basket production closes by October 30 for December delivery. Christmas party production closes by November 15 for December delivery. For brands present in more than one city we run a master calendar with simultaneous production across Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro, Puebla, Mérida, Tijuana and León. For digital platforms we run merchandise for sweepstakes with insured domestic courier shipping. For brands with export operations under IMMEX, deduction when merchandise ties to export promotion. Invoicing runs in pesos at the Banco de México rate of the day.

H4 curation by consumer type and seniority

H4 curation depends on the merchandise reason and the recipient profile. For mass Buen Fin we run practical merchandise between thirty and two hundred and fifty pesos. For mid Buen Fin we run branded merchandise between two hundred and fifty and fifteen hundred pesos. For premium Buen Fin we run premium merchandise between fifteen hundred and fifteen thousand pesos. For Día de Muertos we run Mexican-motif merchandise: sugar skull, cempasúchil candle, pan de muerto, gourmet merchandise, craft. For christmas party we run premium merchandise: Citizen watch, Tumi luggage, gift card, artwork. For VIP clients we run premium-plus merchandise: Longines watch, Montblanc pen, contemporary artwork, travel luggage.

The process begins with a session with the brand's marketing and trade marketing team, where we define the merchandise reason, the recipient profile, the budget bands per seniority, the delivery deadline and the destination. For brands running more than one activation per year we manage an annual program with capacity reservation, volume discount and merchandise standardization by line. Delivery coordinates directly with physical flagship stores, brand warehouses, or courier hubs. For corporates on an annual program we run a master calendar with a single corporate coordinator and monthly progress reports.
