Chile Corporate Event 2026: the most institutionalised economy in South America runs on DTE 52 from the SII, 100% digital electronic invoicing, and gifts that mirror the precision of Casablanca Valley

Chile operates one of the most mature electronic-invoicing regimes in Latin America. The SII (Servicio de Impuestos Internos) administers the DTE (Documento Tributario Electrónico) under model 52 (sales invoice) with electronic stamp, digital signature of the emitter, and billing resolution. The Chilean economy is open, with 28 trade agreements in force, free-convertible Chilean peso (CLP), and a corporate ecosystem strongly influenced by the Pacific Alliance (Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru) under the additional protocol. For the corporate event in Santiago, Valparaíso, Concepción, or Antofagasta we resolve three critical layers. The first is invoicing: the DTE 52 is issued under the emitter's RUT with SII stamp, detailed service description, 19% IVA, and, when applicable, 14.5% or 17% honorarium withholding. The second is gift curation: Chile has a differentiated gourmet identity with Carménère as emblematic variety (rescued from oblivion after the 1867 phylloxera plague), Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from Casablanca Valley, olive oil from Colchagua Valley, Hass avocado from Petorca Valley, and red berries from Maule. The third is language: neutral Chilean Spanish with usted and ustedes in corporate correspondence, neutral international vocabulary for printed text, and gifts labelled in Spanish.

Chilean gift curation: Casablanca Valley, Colchagua, Petorca

The curated Chilean gift is built with origin-identified products and verifiable denomination of origin. For executive level we deliver boxes with premium Carménère (Concha y Toro Carménère Peumo, Montes Alpha Carménère, Casa Lapostolle Clos Apalta, Errázuriz Max Carménère, Seña, Viñedo Chadwick, Almaviva), Cabernet Sauvignon from Alto Maipo (Concha y Toro Tinto Don Melchor, Santa Rita Casa Real, Montes Purple Angel, Errázuriz Don Maximiano), Chardonnay from Casablanca Valley (Matetic, Casas del Bosque, Viña Mar), extra-virgin olive oil from Colchagua Valley (Almazara, La Invernada, Tagua Tagua, Olave), Hass avocado from Petorca Valley with denomination of origin, frozen red berries from Maule, and a tech piece (premium headphones, power bank, encrypted USB) with client logo. Gift price ranges from MXN 620 to MXN 6,200 ex-IVA per piece.

For middle level we deliver boxes with mid-tier Carménère, Colchagua olive oil, Petorca Hass avocado in wooden box, dehydrated red berries, manjar from Campo Lindo or Latarce, and a piece of corporate merchandising. For mass level we deliver kits in fabric backpack with stainless thermos, reusable bottle with client logo, local healthy snack, and event POP material. The curation rule: every gift has an identifiable producer, verifiable denomination of origin, and traceable supply chain. We reject generic imported gifts without Chilean cultural context.

Printed material is delivered in neutral Chilean Spanish. Executive invitations use usted and ustedes; voseo is absent in Chilean Spanish. The brand manual is respected with per-market application tolerance: the logo may remain in neutral international Spanish, but body text adapts to Chilean Spanish. Ribbon tapes are produced in brand-manual colours with Spanish text. Gifts are labelled in Spanish with ingredients, origin, batch, and expiration date under SAG (Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero) regulation.

DTE 52, SII, 19% IVA, and Pacific Alliance deduction

The Chilean DTE 52 is the electronic sales-invoice document. It is issued under the emitter's RUT, with SII stamp, advanced electronic signature, detailed service description, 19% IVA, and honorarium withholding when applicable. The DTE is sent to the SII in real time for validation and delivered to the recipient in XML and PDF format. For imported gifts the emitter declares the product code under SACH (Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero) when food, taxes IVA at the 19% general rate, and, when applicable, additional tax on luxury goods.

For the Mexico-based client that receives the mirror invoice of the Chilean component, the deduction operates under the Pacific Alliance Additional Protocol. The Mexican client deducts as expense the Chilean proportion if the event ties to the Mexican operation, withholds ISR on payments abroad when the Chilean partner is a Chilean tax resident, and applies 100% creditable IVA on the Mexican component with CFDI 4.0 SAT. For clients with Chilean plant under DL 600 (foreign investment statute) the deduction operates under specific rules.

For corporate clients with annual recurring events (portfolio launch, regional kick-off, supplier convention, winery experience) we offer a master agreement with per-city logbook, monthly consolidated invoicing in CFDI 4.0 + DTE 52, and unified manual under a single binational (Mexico–Chile) project director. The master agreement simplifies tax deduction in both countries and allows consolidating shipments from origin to reduce logistics cost between 20% and 38% against local per-market purchase.

Cost, lead times, and Santiago–Valparaíso–Antofagasta logistics

Santiago launch package — from USD 26,500 ex-taxes for 300 regional delegates with bilingual credentialing, podium, lanyards, kit, and curated gift. Chilean chamber-convention package — from USD 39,500 ex-taxes for 700 attendees. Mining-plant-event package — from USD 16,500 ex-taxes for 200 technical delegates. Winery-experience package — from USD 42,500 ex-taxes for 100 VIP guests with private tasting, paired food, and premium wine gift.

Reserve with a 15-point brief: venue city (Santiago, Valparaíso, Concepción, Antofagasta, Viña del Mar, Puerto Varas), attendees, material language (Chilean Spanish, bilingual), delegate profile, brand manual in vectors and curves, palette, differentiated gift by level, local DTE 52 under RUT, CFDI 4.0 SAT for the Mexican component, customs handling if crossing the border, delivery location and date. With the brief we respond with a binational quote within 48 business hours and, after approval, deliver the first sample batch within 7 business days from Santiago with optional consolidation from CDMX.

For clients with recurring annual budget we cover consolidation from origin: corporate buys premium pieces (gifts, encrypted USBs, executive notebooks) in a single order from CDMX with CFDI 4.0 SAT, and we distribute them to Santiago, Valparaíso, Concepción, and Antofagasta in weekly shipments with customs declaration when crossing the border. The model reduces logistics cost between 20% and 38% against local per-city purchase, keeping the Chilean curation and market-differentiated gift.
