Villahermosa Supplier Fair Q1 2026: the Sureste industrial kickoff that sets the procurement calendar for the next nine months

January, February and March are the quarter when the Villahermosa industrial zone — Parque Tabasco, the Ciudad Industrial corridor, the Dos Bocas road — runs the supplier round that will service the oil sector, the cacao agro-industry and the Cárdenas port corridor for the following nine months. The Fair opens the season with three days of booths, a B2B agenda and a matchmaking wheel that brings in corporate buyers from Pemex, CFE, Grupo Modelo, Nestlé México and the IMMEX operations out of Macuspana and Cunduacán. We produce the exhibitor merch — back wall, sales uniform, buyer gift, post-visit kit — with delivery to the Villahermosa Convention Centre five working days before assembly and CFDI 4.0 with the Foreign Trade Complement when the buyer is an IMMEX operator.

Why Q1 in Villahermosa opens the procurement cycle

The Villahermosa Supplier Fair has consolidated itself as the Sureste kick-off event for the oil, agro-industrial and port sectors on the Gulf of Mexico. The mix is what makes it unique: in the same exhibition hall you find OEM suppliers for offshore platforms alongside agro-industrial suppliers for cacao, plantain and Persian lime — the two sectors growing fastest in Tabasco during 2026. Corporate buyers at the Fair run procurement budgets fresh from January, which makes the Fair the moment when the contracts governing the next nine months are signed.

The typical exhibitor at the Fair runs a three-by-three modular booth, brings a four-to-eight-person commercial team that flies in from CDMX, Monterrey or Villahermosa itself, and brings a catalogue and sample inventory to hand to buyers in print and USB form. The booth merch serves four functions that often get underestimated: identifying the commercial team for buyers walking thirty booths in a day, the gift handed to the buyer at the close of the meeting, POP material that carries the brand when the exhibitor is not in front of the customer, and a post-visit kit that lands at their desk two weeks after the Fair with the signed proposal.

For IMMEX exhibitors based in Macuspana, Cunduacán or Cárdenas, the Fair cycle overlaps with the pedimento calendar: merch enters the Fair under temporary export and is nationalised at close when it stays in the Mexican buyer's warehouse. We issue CFDI 4.0 with the Foreign Trade Complement 2.0 from the first delivery and close the pedimento when the exhibitor asks.

Cost and operation for the Villahermosa Supplier Fair

The standard exhibitor bundle starts at MXN 1,150 before IVA for four-to-six salesperson runs. For eight-person teams it drops to MXN 980. The overall MOQ is four salespeople; booths with fewer than four are quoted with an extra fixed fee for the back wall complexity and per-salesperson kitting.

We issue CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA itemised to SAT in national currency. For IMMEX corporate buyers we run the payment complement in USD at the Bank of Mexico exchange rate of the day with the matching audit trail. For buyers receiving the charge in USD from Houston or Calgary we run the pedimento with the exhibitor's customs broker.

Lead time is 20 to 30 working days from art approval for the full exhibitor bundle. For exhibitors with shorter notice we run express production at an extra fee. Delivery is five working days before assembly to leave the commercial team margin for per-salesperson kitting and booth distribution.
