Buen Fin, Christmas and New Year B2C Q4 2026: the highest-consumption quarter on the Mexican commercial calendar

The fourth quarter concentrates most of the annual B2C consumption in Mexico. Buen Fin (second half of November, organized by CONCANACO and SAT) is comparable to the US Black Friday and concentrates mass discounts on electronics, fashion, sports, home, beauty, appliances and toys. The Christmas season (December) is the largest consumption date of the year for toys, clothing, electronics, gifts and family experiences. New Year closes the fiscal year with the last wave of consumption. For the Mexican brand targeting the end consumer, Q4 represents between thirty and forty-five percent of annual sales. At Corp-Merch.MX we produce Q4 B2C merchandise with CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Advertising or Marketing expense.

Invoicing runs in pesos at the Banco de México rate of the day; for clients with headquarters abroad we also invoice in USD or EUR with daily conversion.

Q4 B2C merchandise curation

Q4 B2C curation depends on reason and channel. For Buen Fin we run influencer kits and buyer gifts between two hundred and fifty and fifty-five hundred pesos with staggered production and delivery to the logistics center. For Christmas we run gifts with motif between twelve hundred and fifty-five hundred pesos with showcase POP material and employee kits. For brand activations we run attendee gifts between two hundred and fifty and fifteen hundred pesos with staggered production and venue delivery. For e-commerce and special shipping we run gift boxes, cards and unboxing kits between two hundred and fifty and twelve hundred pesos with individual packaging.

The process starts with a session involving the Commercial, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Communications and Procurement committees, where we define the Q4 B2C calendar, priority points of sale, channels (physical vs e-commerce), budget bands and delivery deadline. Q4 production normally starts between September 15 and 30 to secure capacity in peak season. For clients with several Q4 dates we offer a quarterly package with volume discount and scheduled delivery. CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Advertising or Marketing expense per the destination of the gift.
