Fiestas Patrias, back-to-school and brand activations B2C Q3 2026: the patriotic and school quarter for the Mexican consumer

The third quarter concentrates two high-consumption B2C dates for the Mexican brand: back-to-school (August), which in Mexico is the second-largest consumption date for school supplies, uniforms, footwear, backpacks and education technology, just behind Christmas; and Fiestas Patrias (September 15 and 16), which concentrate consumption of motif gifts, brand activations with the Mexican flag, hospitality and family experiences. For the Mexican brand targeting the end consumer, these two dates activate the production chain of promotional merchandise, motif gifts, school kits and brand experiences in shopping centers, department stores and e-commerce. At Corp-Merch.MX we produce Q3 B2C merchandise with CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Advertising or Marketing expense.

Q3 2026 B2C commercial calendar

The Mexican Q3 concentrates two strong B2C commercial dates. Back-to-school (August) activates from the first half of July with school kit production, POP material and employee kits. The critical chain point is the last week of July and the first of August, with point-of-sale delivery between July 15 and August 25. Fiestas Patrias (September 15 and 16) activates from the first week of September with motif gift production and brand experience. The critical chain point is the first and second week of September, with point-of-sale delivery between September 5 and 14.

At Corp-Merch.MX we coordinate Q3 B2C merchandise production with a master calendar, a single client lead and direct delivery to each point of sale or venue. For clients with points of sale in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro, Puebla, Mérida, Tijuana, León, Veracruz and Acapulco we run synchronized delivery via domestic courier. For clients with direct-to-consumer sales in the United States or Canada we run international shipping under USMCA. For clients under the IMMEX program on the northern border we run deduction when merchandise ties to B2C campaigns. Invoicing runs in pesos at the Banco de México rate of the day; for clients with headquarters abroad we also invoice in USD or EUR with daily conversion.

Q3 B2C merchandise curation

Q3 B2C curation depends on reason and channel. For back-to-school we run school kits between eight hundred and fifty and thirty-five hundred pesos, with point-of-sale POP material and customer-with-children gifts. For Fiestas Patrias we run gifts with patriotic motif between fifteen hundred and fifty-five hundred pesos, with premium Mexican curation (tequila, mezcal, talavera, alebrijes, chocolate) and green-white-red POP material. For brand activations we run attendee gifts between two hundred and fifty and fifteen hundred pesos with staggered production and venue delivery. For e-commerce and special shipping we run gift boxes, cards and unboxing kits between two hundred and fifty and twelve hundred pesos with individual packaging.

The process starts with a session involving the Commercial, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Communications and Procurement committees, where we define the Q3 B2C calendar, priority points of sale, channels (physical vs e-commerce), budget bands and delivery deadline. Q3 production normally starts between June 15 and 30 to secure capacity in peak season. For clients with several Q3 dates we offer a quarterly package with volume discount and scheduled delivery. CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Advertising or Marketing expense per the destination of the gift.
