Día de Reyes Magos and Valentine's Day B2C Q1 2026: the opening commercial dates on the Mexican calendar

The first quarter concentrates two critical B2C dates for the Mexican brand: Día de los Reyes Magos (January 6), which in Mexico is the second-largest consumption date for toys, chocolates and rosca de reyes, just behind Christmas; and Valentine's Day (Saturday, February 14, 2026), the largest consumption date for flowers, chocolates, jewelry, clothing, perfumes and romantic experiences. For the Mexican brand targeting the end consumer, these two dates activate the production chain of promotional merchandise, motif gifts, gift kits, point-of-sale POP material and brand experiences in shopping centers, department stores and e-commerce. At Corp-Merch.MX we produce Q1 B2C merchandise with CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Advertising or Marketing expense.

Q1 2026 B2C commercial calendar

The Mexican Q1 concentrates the first two strong commercial B2C dates. Día de los Reyes Magos (January 6) activates from the last week of December with gift kit production, POP material and rosca kits. The critical chain point is the first week of January, with point-of-sale delivery between January 1 and 5. Valentine's Day (February 14) activates from the third week of January with motif gift production, romantic kits and brand experience. The critical chain point is the first week of February, with point-of-sale delivery between February 5 and 13.

At Corp-Merch.MX we coordinate Q1 B2C merchandise production with a master calendar, a single client lead and direct delivery to each point of sale or venue. For clients with points of sale in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Querétaro, Puebla, Mérida, Tijuana, León, Veracruz and Acapulco we run synchronized delivery via domestic courier. For clients with direct-to-consumer sales in the United States or Canada we run international shipping under USMCA. For clients under the IMMEX program on the northern border we run deduction when merchandise ties to B2C retention campaigns. Invoicing runs in pesos at the Banco de México rate of the day; for clients with headquarters abroad we also invoice in USD or EUR with daily conversion.

Q1 B2C merchandise curation

Q1 B2C curation depends on reason and channel. For Día de Reyes we run gifts with three-kings motifs between four hundred and fifty and twenty-five hundred pesos, with point-of-sale POP material and rosca kits. For Valentine's Day we run gifts with romantic motif between fifteen hundred and fifty-five hundred pesos, with showcase POP material and employee-with-partner kits. For brand activations we run attendee gifts between two hundred and fifty and fifteen hundred pesos with staggered production and venue delivery. For e-commerce and special shipping we run gift boxes, cards and unboxing kits between two hundred and fifty and twelve hundred pesos with individual packaging.

The process starts with a session involving the Commercial, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Communications and Procurement committees, where we define the Q1 B2C calendar, priority points of sale, channels (physical vs e-commerce), budget bands and delivery deadline. Q1 production normally starts between November 15 and 30 of the prior year to secure capacity in peak season. For clients with several Q1 dates we offer a quarterly package with volume discount and scheduled delivery. CFDI 4.0 invoicing, sixteen percent IVA, deductible as Advertising or Marketing expense per the destination of the gift.
