New-hire welcome: the day one that defines the commitment

The day a new hire walks into their office in Polanco, Santa Fe, Lomas de Chapultepec, Del Valle, Roma Norte, Condesa, Torre Reforma, Toreo, Valle Oriente, San Pedro Garza García, Valle de Bravo, Andares or Plaza del Sol is the day they decide, without saying it, whether this company will be their home for the next five years or not. The tangible welcome — the kit the employee opens on their day-one desk, or receives at home the night before when the format is home office — is the first signal. We work with Mexican corporates running monthly, quarterly or cohort-based onboarding programmes who want day one to feel personal.

What it feels like to open the kit on day one

The welcome kit isn't a box of stuff. It is a sequence. The t-shirt goes in first, folded with a kraft paper band and a sticker for the area the employee is joining — the sticker colour changes by area and the size is confirmed against the HR sheet before production. The mug is wrapped in tissue paper with the office's internal coffee legend: "Monday coffee", "four o'clock snack", "Friday pause". The notebook is debossed with the employee's name and exact hire date — that date also appears on the director's card, so the envelope and the notebook line up.

The roller pen is the last and most delicate item, delivered with a one-line instruction that the corporate drafts: "this is your pen, use it to sign your best ideas". The kraft box is sealed with a round logo sticker and raw cotton tape. When the corporate wants to upgrade the presentation we add gold or silver foil stamping to the seal and swap the tape for satin ribbon. On top of the box goes the CEO's card with signature printed from a hot-stamp die. The box lands on the day-one desk or ships to the employee's home the night before for home-office programmes. Home delivery uses tracked shipping with delivery notification to the corporate.

Monthly, quarterly and cohort programmes

The monthly programme is the most common for corporates with steady hire flow of 5 to 20 people per month. We run an open contract with monthly purchase order and recurring production. The quarterly programme groups large cohorts to reduce per-unit cost and homogenise the visual language. The cohort programme is used by corporates that hire large volumes on specific dates — August for back-to-work, January for planning, September for back-to-school — and want a special kit per cohort.

The standard kit cost starts at MXN 685 before IVA per unit on a 100-kit run. With foil stamping on the seal and satin ribbon, MXN 845. With premium packaging in rigid box with magnetic closure, MXN 1,485 per unit on a 50-kit run. For monthly recurring programmes with volume above 300 kits monthly we negotiate an annual contract with safety stock and guaranteed lead time.

We invoice CFDI 4.0 with 16% IVA itemised to the SAT. When the kit is shipped to the employee's home address, we manage tracking and consolidated reporting to the corporate. For corporates with foreign parent, we issue CFDI with foreign trade complement when applicable and commercial invoice in USD for the procurement team.
