Corporate t-shirts in Mexico City: 2026 comparison

This page crosses the t-shirt models most frequently produced for corporate clients headquartered in CDMX against the decoration techniques, volume tiers, MOQs and the prices we run today. It is meant for procurement teams and brand managers to assemble their brief without having to ask three separate quotes. Production runs in workshops across Estado de México (Tlalnepantla, Naucalpan, Ecatepec, Cuautitlán Izcalli) with same-day delivery inside the Periférico–Viaducto circuit and next-day to the rest of the metro area.

Models, fabrics and decoration techniques

The corporate tee in CDMX remains the workhorse of the merch program: low unit cost, high wear frequency, clear brand readability. Model and technique choice depends on the use — field-operations uniform, customer-facing polo, event staff tee, trade-show giveaway. The table below crosses the five most-ordered models against the three dominant decoration techniques (screen print, embroidery and DTF) and the price ranges in MXN before VAT.

Prices in MXN before 16% VAT — do not include screen-setup cost (MXN $280–$420 per color) or digitizing (MXN $180 per artwork). Volume 100 pieces with one-color logo on chest (10×10 cm). VAT is itemized on the CFDI 4.0 electronic invoice.

How to pick the right model for each program

For field-operations uniforms in CDMX (logistics, maintenance, security, retail supervision), the V-neck 50/50 tee is the standard: it survives industrial laundering, holds shape, takes sweat and dries fast. Embroidery on left chest (8×4 cm logo) and upper back (22×4 cm) when institutional presence is needed; if budget is tight, one-color screen print works and drops unit cost to MXN $56 in tier 500.

For customer-facing uniforms in Polanco, Santa Fe, Reforma or Lomas corporate towers, the cotton piqué polo with chest embroidery is the piece that carries the brand image. Sizes run XS–XL with unisex cut; women's cut available on request with a MXN $18 per unit surcharge. For events at Centro Citibanamex or WTC, the ring-spun premium crew neck with DTF full color holds up at the booth and is sold as event merch.

For ESG-aligned programs where procurement policy requires recycled content, the GRS-certified 50% recycled / 50% virgin cotton tee with woven certification label is the right piece. Price rises to MXN $98 at tier 500, but the sustainability narrative justifies it for the comms team. For sports activations and internal team uniforms (soccer, running, cycling), the dry-fit performance tee with sublimation enters as the technical option.

Decoration techniques and when to use each

Screen print

Plastisol or water-based ink on mesh. Ideal for long runs with one to four solid colors. Setup per color between MXN $280 and MXN $420. Plastisol holds industrial laundering; water-based has a softer hand but lower durability. For CDMX, screen print remains the dominant technique in operational-uniform programs and event tees.

Industrial embroidery

Tajima one- to fifteen-head machines with Coats or Madeira thread. Applies to piqué polo, sweatshirt, jacket and cap. On thin cotton tees it can pucker and distort fabric — which is why the table marks "not recommended" on the 5.3 oz crew neck. Digitizing MXN $180 per artwork; embroidery is billed by stitch count and grows with the size.

DTF (Direct to Film)

Print on PET film with hot-melt adhesive, heat-transferred. Full color with no ink limit, ideal for art with gradients, photos or multi-color logos. On white or light-color tees, DTF comes out flawless. On dark polyester, requires pre-test. Setup MXN $220 per design; unit cost drops sharply from 200 pieces upward.

Sublimation

Ink that bonds to polyester fiber under heat and pressure. Full color permanent that does not wash off. Applies only to white or very light fabric with high polyester content. It is the technique of high-performance sportswear and collections where the print covers the whole garment. Cost is higher than DTF on short runs, equal or lower on long runs.

MOQ, lead times and CDMX logistics

MOQ depends on model and technique. Standard screen print: 50 pieces per design (one color, one size, one location). Embroidery on polo: 36 pieces. DTF full color: 30 pieces (because of the film cost). Sublimation: 24 pieces. For programs that mix sizes (S, M, L, XL) and colors, we run percentage distribution — you tell us 30% M, 40% L, 20% XL, 10% XXL and we fill that proportion.

Production lead time runs 7–10 business days on standard line; 3–5 business days on rush with a +30% surcharge. Delivery inside the Periférico–Viaducto circuit (Benito Juárez, Miguel Hidalgo, Cuauhtémoc, Coyoacán, Álvaro Obregón, Magdalena Contreras) is usually same-day if the order is confirmed before 11:00; next-day to the rest of the metro area and surrounding states. For corporate-tower deliveries with appointment, we coordinate with reception or security for access. For long runs (3,000–10,000 pieces) we run dedicated freight in CDMX with loading-dock drop-off.

Invoicing runs on CFDI 4.0 with the SAT, itemizing 16% VAT. We need your current fiscal-identification certificate (constancia de situación fiscal) and, if you work with purchase orders, the open PO. When payment is in USD wire from a foreign HQ, we issue the withholding voucher so your Mexican tax department applies the credit.
