Pet care
For marketing, retail and clinical teams at Petco México, Nupec, Maskotas, Pet Planet, regional pet-store chains, veterinary clinics and the long tail of pet-care brands who need retail giveaways, dog-walk apparel, vet scrubs and adoption-day kits produced inside Mexico.
Pet ownership in Mexico has grown steadily through the post-pandemic period, with the major retail chains and a long tail of independent shops and vet clinics competing for the same customer. The brand voice in pet care is warm, slightly playful, and photo-friendly. The merch has to survive dog walks, vet waiting rooms, and adoption-day events — which means it has to be more durable than the equivalent corporate giveaway.
Most pet-care brands run three merch cycles per year: an adoption-day drop in spring, a back-to-school drop in late summer, and a holiday gifting drop in November–December. The supplier has to be ready for short runs at short notice, which is where the master supply agreement earns its keep.

Polos, caps and bandanas for the brand's walking-club community. Built for repeated outdoor use and frequent laundering.
Branded scrubs, lab coats and clinic-team apparel aligned with infection-control policies and the buyer's NOM-035 plan.
Welcome kits handed to new pet parents at adoption events, including collapsible bowls, bandanas and small-format giveaways. Higher volume during adoption season.
Pet merch has to survive outdoor use, dog walking, slobber and frequent wash cycles. Cotton-polyester blends outlast 100% cotton for apparel. Coated polyester works well for bandanas, treat pouches and small accessories. Stainless steel or BPA-free Tritan is the safe default for water bowls and bottles. Avoid fabric finishes that lose colour after three washes; the pet owner will notice before the brand manager does.
Pet-care brands in Mexico are Régimen General de Ley and recover IVA 16% on merch spend against their monthly declaración with CFDI 4.0 uso G03. Vet clinics are sometimes organised as personas físicas with actividad empresarial under the RESICO regime; the supplier should confirm the régimen fiscal before stamping the CFDI. Imported pet merch follows the standard customs path with USMCA paperwork when applicable.
50 pieces per colour for screen-printed apparel; 100 for non-apparel items. Below these, the unit cost rises sharply because setup is amortised across fewer units.
