Festivals & live events
For sponsors, vendors and on-site merch teams at Vive Latino, Corona Capital, Machaca, Hell & Heaven, Tecate Pal Norte, Ceremonia, AXE Ceremonia, the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival and the long tail of multi-day live events across CDMX, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Mérida.
A multi-day music festival in Mexico is a logistics exercise first and a creative exercise second. Foro Sol, Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Parque Bicentenario, Explanada de los Héroes in Monterrey, the Escenario GNP in Guadalajara, the Centro de Espectáculos in Mérida — each venue has its own freight rules, security protocol and on-site storage constraints. The merch programme is either designed around the venue's reality or it does not ship.
The festival calendar in Mexico clusters around the dry season: March to May is Vive Latino, Pal Norte, Machaca and Ceremonia; September and October bring Corona Capital, Coca-Cola Flow Fest and Hell & Heaven; December brings regional festivals in Yucatán, Oaxaca and Chiapas. Order the merch two months ahead of the show, accept a CFDI stamp deadline well before the event, and plan a freight window that respects the venue's load-in slot.

T-shirts, hoodies and caps branded to the festival's own identity. Higher unit cost, sellable at the merch booth, often a real revenue line for the festival operator.
Branded apparel and accessories for the on-site crew, security, hospitality and artist-rider teams. Pre-packed by role and delivered to the production office.
Premium items for the festival's VIP lounges, sponsor hospitality and artist rider. Lower volume, higher unit cost, longer lead time.
Foro Sol and the Autódromo are the most logistically complex venues in Mexico City, with a single load-in entrance and a tight window between the previous event's load-out and the festival's load-in. Parque Bicentenario and Centro Citibanamex are simpler. Outside CDMX, each festival venue has its own quirks — the load-in dock at Explanada de los Héroes in Monterrey is small, so a 53-foot trailer will not fit; the Escenario GNP in Guadalajara accepts full truck deliveries but only at off-peak hours; the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival in Playa del Carmen runs freight through Cancún.
Sponsor activation kits are deductible under Article 27 of the LISR as ordinary and necessary marketing expense, recoverable against IVA 16% with CFDI 4.0 uso G03. Festival-branded apparel sold on-site is a sale, not a marketing expense, and the festival operator must issue CFDI 4.0 for each sale through its point-of-sale system. Imported merch follows the standard customs path with USMCA paperwork when applicable.
Eight to ten weeks for festival-branded apparel with screen print or embroidery; twelve weeks for any custom-developed piece or anything imported under USMCA paperwork.
Yes, with a pre-positioned 3PL near the venue. The merch team on-site then replenishes the activation booth from a hotel or warehouse buffer.
Build weather-resistant packaging into the freight plan. A festival that runs through rain can lose 10% to 30% of its merch if the inventory is not pre-bagged in poly.
