Frequently asked questions

Packaging and polybag options

How we pack your merch for store, gift, event or direct-to-recipient delivery: individual polybag, corporate box, kit, sustainable packaging and per-unit traceability.

Packaging matters, and a lot

A shirt delivered in a clear polyethylene bag ends up feeling like inventory. The same shirt in a box with a brand seal, a personalized card and inner wrapping feels like a gift. Packaging does more than protect the piece: it communicates the brand, justifies the price and improves the recipient experience.

That is why we dedicate an entire line of the brief to packaging. It is not an add-on, it is part of the product. Before quoting we ask how the merchandise will be delivered: warehouse, store, event, office, recipient's home. That answer defines the bag, the box, the kit, the filler paper, the seal, the label and, in many cases, the operator's packing guide as well.

The most common option is individual polybag per piece. Each unit goes in its own 100-gauge polyethylene bag with a heat seal or zip closure depending on the case. That protects against dust, humidity and handling during transport. For premium lines we use an opaque black bag with corporate print or a reusable cotton bag that already replaces the final packaging.

When the piece goes into an incentive program or corporate gift we usually recommend a rigid magnetic box or a telescopic box in solid sulfate cardboard. The box prints inside and out with the brand colors, fills with tissue or kraft paper and seals with a self-adhesive sticker or hang tag. This presentation raises the perceived value without blowing the budget when the volume is high.

For kits that combine several pieces (shirt plus tumbler plus notebook plus regional treats) we build the kit on a dedicated line, wrap it in cellophane or place it in a box with internal divider. Each kit includes a card listing the pieces and, when the client requires it, the recipient's name or a personalized message. These kits go together on a dedicated table so each unit matches the previous one.

For clients with a sustainability policy we offer recycled, recyclable or compostable packaging. Green polyethylene bags, FSC-certified cardboard boxes, kraft filler paper instead of foam, water-based inks for inner printing. Each option carries an extra cost we quote separately, but the brand-communication impact usually justifies it.

When delivery goes direct to the end consumer (reward program, event with home shipping, loyalty campaign) the individual packaging adapts to parcel carrier. Each piece goes in a box with inner protection, a label with the recipient and a pre-printed waybill. It cuts time on the last mile and reduces damage-in-transit claims.

Frequently asked questions about packaging

What brand and trade marketing teams most often ask before closing the packaging of an order.

What is the difference between individual packaging and a kit?

Individual packaging protects a single piece in a bag or box. A kit groups several pieces into a unified presentation with card and seal, hand-assembled for a higher per-unit cost.

Can I order custom packaging with my brand colors?

Yes. We print the box, bag, seal and card with your palette and logos. For high volumes we use offset printing; for medium runs, screen or hot-foil. The setup fee is quoted separately depending on substrate and technique.

Do you have sustainable packaging options?

Yes. Recycled bags, FSC-certified boxes, kraft filler instead of foam, water-based inks. Each option carries an extra cost we quote separately with its technical sheet and, where applicable, chain-of-custody certificate.

Can you include a personalized card with the recipient name?

Yes. The card prints from the recipient list you send us as a flat file. We validate format, separators and duplicates before printing. Cost depends on volume and finish: standard, hot stamping or embossing.

What does a typical corporate kit include?

It depends on the brief, but the most common ones are shirt plus tumbler, notebook plus pen, or backpack plus shirt plus tech accessories. We assemble the kit from pieces we produce or that the client already has in stock, with internal divider and lined box.

Can you pack for direct-to-consumer shipping?

Yes. We adapt the individual packaging for parcel carriers with an outer box, inner protection and a label with the recipient. It cuts time on the last mile and reduces damage-in-transit claims, especially in large-scale incentive programs.

How do you label each box when pieces are personalized?

Each box carries a label with recipient, internal order number, contents and barcode. For name-personalized pieces we validate the final list against the client's database before packing so each box reaches the right recipient with no operator guesswork.
