Delivery, logistics, and nationwide distribution
How we move your merch from our hubs to the client door, the corporate office, or the event venue: Carta Porte 3.0, dock slots, on-site delivery, and documented returns.
Delivery is not improvised, it is scheduled
The last mile in corporate merch is where the promises of the brief fall apart. A tee with flawless printing that arrives six hours late at Foro Sol serves nobody. At Corp-Merch Mexico we treat delivery as its own discipline, with hubs in Mexico City (Iztapalapa and Polanco), Guadalajara (Periférico Sur), and Monterrey (Apodaca), an allied courier network in secondary cities, and documented procedures for Carta Porte 3.0, dock slots, and on-site event delivery.
The operational backbone is the logistics plan we start at project kickoff. In the first session we ask for the destination city, complete address with references, allowed dock window, building access restrictions (vendor badge, ID, personal protective equipment), the person who receives, and, when applicable, whether the delivery lines up with an event with a hard schedule. That information goes into the project file and is replicated into the production order, so nobody improvises on the fly.
When the delivery crosses state lines, we issue Carta Porte 3.0 with carrier data, plates, SCT permit number, and origin-destination points that the SAT requires since the complemento took effect. For in-state deliveries we do not require Carta Porte, but we still attach a transport guide with operator and vehicle data, because corporate security teams in CDMX and Monterrey usually request it before authorizing access to their loading docks.
Dock windows at corporate sites tend to be very specific: many companies in Polanco, Santa Fe, and Lomas de Chapultepec only accept deliveries between 8 and 10 a.m., before the building closes public access. In these cases our driver arrives fifteen minutes early, presents ID and transport letter, waits at the dock, and, if the dock is occupied, calls the client logistics lead. The wait is capped at 90 minutes; past that we head back to the hub and reschedule with an additional charge, unless otherwise agreed in the order.
For deliveries to event venues we follow a different protocol. When the destination is Cintermex, Expo Guadalajara, WTC CDMX, Centro Citibanamex, Centro de Congresos de Querétaro, or the client venue inside a hotel, our delivery coordinator contacts the event production team 24 hours ahead to confirm setup time, vendor access, dock location, badge requirements, and overnight loading windows when applicable. If the delivery is overnight or on a weekend, the cost gets quoted up front and added to the order to prevent disagreements on setup day.
Returns are documented from the order itself. If a piece arrives damaged, defective, or with printing out of tolerance, the client opens a report with photo evidence within five business days from receipt. Our team evaluates the case against the delivery slip signed by the receiving lead, and resolves with replacement, credit note, or partial refund, depending on the situation. We never leave a return open more than ten business days without a formal response, because we know that in corporate merch the use window closes with the campaign or event, and a late replacement loses value.
For bulky or high-value pieces we offer insured delivery with real-time tracking. At corporates in Monterrey and the Bajio it is common for the delivery to include pieces with a value above 50 thousand MXN; in those cases our shipment travels with contracted cargo insurance, GPS tracking, and automatic client notification at every milestone of the journey (hub departure, customs crossing if applicable, arrival at destination city, unload). The insurance cost gets quoted as a separate line and appears in the corresponding CFDI 4.0.
Frequently asked questions about delivery and logistics
What operations, procurement, and event teams most often ask before closing a merch order.
What are the main Corp-Merch Mexico hubs?
We operate hubs in CDMX (Iztapalapa and Polanco), Guadalajara (Periférico Sur), and Monterrey (Apodaca), with allied couriers in secondary cities in the Bajio, north, and southeast. Full coverage is confirmed at project kickoff.
Do you issue Carta Porte 3.0 for interstate deliveries?
Yes. For every interstate delivery we issue Carta Porte 3.0 with carrier data, plates, SCT permit, and origin-destination per the SAT complemento. For in-state deliveries we attach a transport guide with operator and vehicle data.
How do you handle tight dock windows at corporate sites?
We arrive fifteen minutes early with ID, transport letter, and the right vehicle. If the dock is occupied, we call the client logistics lead. The wait is capped at 90 minutes; past that we reschedule with an additional charge.
Do you deliver to event venues like Cintermex or Expo Guadalajara?
Yes. The delivery coordinator confirms 24 hours ahead with production: setup time, vendor access, dock, badge requirements, and overnight windows if applicable. The overnight surcharge is quoted in advance.
How do you handle returns for damage or defect?
The client opens a report with photo evidence within five business days. We evaluate against the signed delivery slip and resolve with replacement, credit note, or partial refund. Maximum response window: ten business days.
Do you offer insurance for high-value pieces?
Yes. For shipments above 50 thousand MXN, we contract cargo insurance, GPS tracking, and milestone notifications. The cost appears as a separate line on the CFDI 4.0.
Can you handle overnight or weekend deliveries?
Yes, with the surcharge quoted in advance and reflected in the order. Common for hotel setup (Camino Real, Presidente InterContinental, Marriott) and department stores with restricted hours.
How do you confirm delivery at destination?
We require the receiving lead signature on the delivery slip with name, position, date, and time. Without the signature we do not close the delivery as completed. For event deliveries we require the client setup coordinator signature.
