Scheduled · 10–11 June 2026 · Haliç Congress Center, Istanbul, Türkiye
For Mexican entrepreneurs, manufacturing SMEs, agro-industry, halal producers and entrepreneurship-support programmes taking part in the KOSGEB Istanbul 2026 day — delegation apparel, two-day expo giveaways, qualified-lead gifts and named kits for Turkish partners and MENA buyers, priced in MXN, invoiced with CFDI 4.0 and delivered to Istanbul on your meeting calendar.
KOSGEB is the Turkish agency for SME development and the natural counterpart to Mexican programmes like INADEM or the SE's entrepreneur support schemes. The Istanbul 2026 day is a regional platform where Turkish, MENA and Eastern European SMEs meet international delegations and buyers from the Middle East, the Balkans and Central Asia. The Mexican delegation matters here: agro-industry SMEs (avocado, berries, cocoa), light manufacturing (plastics, metal-mechanics), IT and hospitality services, halal certifiers and suppliers for the cosmetics and food industries, all looking to decode Turkish regulatory compliance, export opportunities and co-investment schemes.
The merch programme on your stand shapes the first impression for the Saudi, Kuwaiti or Egyptian buyer walking down the Haliç aisle; the box that survives at the concierge of the hotel after coffee with the Riyadh distributor is the one that rides home to the office in Guadalajara, Monterrey or CDMX where export negotiations continue after the flight. Mexican teams tend to split the booth programme across four allocations: delegation apparel sized for delegates, commercial managers, translators and support staff; high-traffic giveaways tuned for the Haliç floor volume; qualified-lead gifts reserved for distributors and agents; and a VIP kit assembled by name for MENA buyers and government officials with whom you want to lock in deals before Q2 close.
Treating these as separate lots — with separate artwork queues, separate packaging and separate shipping — is what separates a stand that runs clean from one that is searching for missing boxes in the loading bay on day two. Logistics from Mexico to Istanbul define the delivery window. A consolidated air freight shipment from AICM or MID routing through Madrid or Frankfurt into Istanbul airport (IST), with Turkish customs clearance under ATA Carnet for promotional material, is the standard option for SMEs that also attend MENA or Eastern European fairs.
Most Mexican programmes we work with end up splitting the shipment: apparel and core giveaways consolidated under a master purchase order, VIP boxes flown under the company's own purchase order so a named concierge at a Beyoğlu or Şişli hotel can sign for them. That second leg is where the CFDI 4.0 plus complemento de pagos come into play; we generate both on the Mexican leg so your customs broker has clean paperwork whether the shipment exits through TOLUCA, AICM or a European gateway. For SMEs new to foreign trade, this separation between the master CFDI 4.0 and the VIP purchase order is usually the missing piece before the first Turkish export.
Brand compliance for SMEs crossing regulated markets is delicate. The artwork that reaches the Haliç floor must avoid absolute claims on certifications (halal, kosher, ISO) that are not backed by the current certificate, and must respect the regulatory sensitivities of both the Turkish market (GIMDES halal certification, KOSGEB-compliant) and target markets (Saudi SASO, Gulf GSO, UAE ESMA). We will review your copy and artwork against the regulatory guidelines of both the home jurisdiction and the target market, not just the KOSGEB organiser's guide. That pre-clearance is what keeps your legal and compliance team comfortable when the booth goes up on 9 June.
For Mexican SMEs that also run operations in Türkiye through a local distributor or agent in Istanbul, we can structure a dual-production programme: one face of the kit produced in Mexico for the travelling delegation, and one face produced in Istanbul for the local distributor's team receiving buyers on the stand. That dual production is what has allowed Mexican SMEs to take advantage of the Turkish workshop's lower MOQ for fast in-show repeats, while reserving the heavy manufacturing for the Mexican hub with its scale economy and master CFDI 4.0.
Before locking the brief, account for the Istanbul weather in June. Istanbul in June runs 22 to 28 degrees Celsius with humidity; your team's kit is the one that shows up in stand photos and in the transfers from hotel to Haliç across the Galata bridge. We plan lightweight apparel — branded combed-cotton polo, branded cap for transfers, canvas tote numbered for the booth — so the brand reads consistently from breakfast at the hotel to the last B2B closing in Sütlüce.
Polos, t-shirts and caps sized for delegates, commercial managers, translators and support staff across both days, in brand colours that read from a distance down the Haliç aisles.
Branded lanyards, canvas tote bags, A5 notebooks, metal pens and USB sticks sized for fast handout during both programme days.
Product sample sets (when applicable), catalogues printed in EN/TR and desk accessories packaged in the languages your B2B meetings run in.
Boxes with premium product, bound catalogues and travel accessories assembled by recipient tier and delivered by name to MENA buyers and government officials.
Before kicking off production, lock the artwork, Pantone references, quantities, packaging and the named on-site recipient, either at the Haliç loading bay or at your Beyoğlu hotel. Delivery windows, dock slots and stand number must be cross-checked against the current KOSGEB exhibitor manual; the venue cannot be treated as an open shipping address. For SMEs routing kit from Mexico via Turkish Airlines Cargo, add a transit buffer for ATA Carnet documentation and Turkish customs clearance, and a hotel concierge buffer often pairs well with direct venue drop-off for the overflow that handlers carry by hand.
Eight to ten weeks is the safe window when production runs in Mexico and the air leg lands in Istanbul under ATA Carnet. Shorter programmes are only possible after written confirmation of stock, branding methods and venue access.
Only when KOSGEB or the venue has confirmed the loading slot, dock access and named consignee. Many Mexican teams split the shipment between the Haliç dock and a named concierge at their Beyoğlu hotel who can sign for the VIP boxes and the overflow.
Yes. We coordinate Mexico-produced apparel with finishing at a local Istanbul workshop while keeping the master purchase order and master CFDI 4.0 in Mexico. The IVA 16% line stays clean and your supplier list stays at a single source.
