For Mexican brands with sponsor packages, label hospitality houses and activation operators joining the 20th-anniversary edition of BBK Live at Kobetamendi — on-site activation apparel, fan and visitor giveaways, qualified-lead gifts for VIP fans and music-industry operators, and kits for artists, managers and bookers, priced in MXN, invoiced with CFDI 4.0 and shipped to Bilbao on your timeline.
Bilbao BBK Live reaches its 20th edition in July 2026 and returns to Kobetamendi, the hill overlooking Bilbao that has been its home since 2006. For a Mexican brand with an official sponsor package, a record-label hospitality house, or an activation operator running a beer, fintech or music-brand presence, BBK Live is a concentrated occasion to be in front of an international audience across three days and a line-up of more than 80 artists. The merch programme defines how the activation lands on the field and how the hospitality feels when a guest fan walks in, and the piece you hand over at a stand on Kobetamendi usually outlives the flyer and ends up in the attendee's backpack for the rest of the summer.
Most Mexican brand activations we work with split the programme into four allocations: apparel for the brand team running the stand and the hospitality house across the three days, fast-handout giveaways sized for the field traffic and the venue entrances, qualified-lead gifts reserved for VIP fans, press and music-industry operators, and kits for artists, managers and bookers with real appointments. Treating these as separate lots — with separate artwork queues, separate packaging and separate shipping — is the single biggest reason a Mexican activation walks into day one at Kobetamendi with everything in the warehouse and no improvisation at a shop in the Casco Viejo.
For operations coming from CDMX, Monterrey or Guadalajara, the production hub question is a real one. Producing tees and gifts in Mexico and shipping them forward to Bilbao adds transit time and customs paperwork but keeps MXN invoicing simple and lets your brand team approve each piece before it ships — which matters especially when the apparel carries the seal of a group like FEMSA, CEMEX, Bimbo, Liverpool, OXXO or a fintech from the Polanco-Santa Fe corridor. Sourcing from a regional partner based in Bilbao, Madrid or Lisbon can shorten the freight leg dramatically but means your invoice and your supplier relationship live in a different currency and jurisdiction. We support both paths — most Mexican activations running multi-festival programmes in Europe end up splitting between a domestic apparel run and a regional assembly partner for the gifts, and we coordinate the two so you only see one purchase order and one CFDI.
BBK Live audiences are demanding on design and presentation. A Mexican activation at Kobetamendi shares the field with sponsorships from global beer brands, telcos and streaming platforms where the standard issue is visually consistent, with a good weight and clean execution. We default to mid-to-premium tiers for the fan and press gifts — combed-cotton tees with water-based ink, waxed-canvas or cotton tote bags with screen print, reusable steel bottles, sticker sets and embroidered patches — because the cost differential against the cheap tier shows up immediately on the field. If the activation includes screens or DJ sets, it pays to align the palette with the brand without overloading on logos; at a festival, a legible tee beats a shouted one.
Cross-border freight deserves its own paragraph. The CDMX or Monterrey to Bilbao route typically runs Iberia, Air Europa or Aeroméxico via a hub in Madrid, or consolidated ocean freight into the port of Bilbao. A consolidated shipment with your freight forwarder is the cheapest option, but it usually means trusting someone else with your delivery window into the Bilbao warehouse or your hotel. We typically recommend a split: branded apparel and core giveaways consolidated with the stand build, VIP and qualified-lead gift boxes sent via airfreight under your own purchase order so a named consignee at your warehouse or your hotel concierge can sign for them directly. That second leg is where the CFDI 4.0 plus complemento de pagos and the carta porte 3.1 come into play; we generate both on the Mexican leg so your customs broker has clean paperwork whether the shipment exits through CDMX airport, Guadalajara or consolidates at Veracruz.

Lanyards, tote bags, pens, A5 notepads, reusable bottles and sticker sets in brand-accented palettes, sized for the field traffic and the venue entrance flows.
Premium tees, waxed-canvas tote bags, double-walled steel bottles, sticker sets and embroidered patches reserved for VIP fans, press and music-industry operators.
Premium notebooks, drinkware, leather or vegan-leather compendiums and compact gift boxes assembled by recipient tier and delivered by name to artists, managers and bookers with real appointments.
Confirm artwork, Pantone references, quantities, packaging and the named receiving contact at your Bilbao warehouse or your hotel concierge before production. Kobetamendi access rules, festival hours and stand locations must be checked against the current sponsor manual; the venue should never be treated as an unrestricted parcel address. Cross-border freight from Mexico runs under your own purchase order with CFDI 4.0 plus carta porte 3.1, and we coordinate the named consignee with your freight forwarder so the two legs of the shipment reconcile cleanly on arrival.
Eight to ten weeks is the safe window when production runs in Mexico and the cross-border freight leg runs to Bilbao. Shorter programmes are possible after stock, branding methods and the Kobetamendi load-in windows are all confirmed in writing.
Only when the organiser has confirmed the freight slot, venue access and named consignee for the brand stand. Most Mexican operations split the shipment between their hotel concierge and a named Bilbao warehouse, not directly to the venue.
One purchase order in MXN, one CFDI 4.0 with complemento de pagos when there are partial payments, and the carta porte 3.1 for the cross-border freight leg. We do not split the relationship across two suppliers.
